This is a great hotel within walking distance of the main historic sites but far enough away for a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Great food and service
-
Excellent Right next to the water

It is really a b and b and not a hotel. Excellent breakfast included. It was a step back in time. Parking was on the block behind the property. But If you see the property you sort of understand. There is limited parking in all of historic St. Augustine.

The Sandpiper room was great. The view and beach access are amazing. However, If you are a light sleeper, pick a room on one of the higher levels as there are residents above you.

Location and the room.

Such a great placs f

There is plenty of covered areas for shade. There is also comfy seating in the sun. Most rooms have bistro tables and chairs outside. Unlike most B&Bs there’s no central dining area so breakfast and happy hour trays are delivered to your room or patio area. Nothing!

Having a designated parking spot (at no extra charge) is not a trivial perk in St Augustine.

Although we hadn’t realised we had booked accommodation based out of St Augustine, the property was overlooking the beach which was a great view from the bedroom. The breakfasts were very disappointing. Staying at the beach property the breakfast is delivered in a cool bag and served in aging Tupperware containers with instructions how to heat in the microwave. Really not appetising. I think it would be better not to include breakfast with the room tariff as both days of our stay we had to go and eat elsewhere.

The breakfast delivery was a very thoughtful touch, but needs a little work. The staff was always very quick to answer any texts that I sent, and were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property (and already have!) Thanks for the great stay!

Everything was perfect! We stayed at the Vilano beach cottage.. Comfortable room, private pool, steps away from a beautiful beach and very close to the downtown historic district. Best of both worlds! Breakfast was delivered to the room every day and the happy hour at the main house was very nice. We will definitely be back! The only con would be the cottage next to us, you can hear people walking upstairs.

Lots of character, great view and service No coffee in the room and none available until breakfast at 8am.

Great location with lots to do in walking distance

It would be nice to have a little sink in kitchen area. Bottom unit could use some sound deadening—could hear loud walking from second floor unit. The floors were extremely dirty—wearing socks turned them black. Breakfast was great. Did not do cocktail hour. Beach access and views were awesome. Our patio area needed a little cleaning. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would go back again. Thanks.

Location and size of room The mattress was very hard and not comfortable at all

The view and location was incredible. Perfect view of the sunrise and great walking. The room had a cabin feel. N/A

Great location near historical district and waterfront. Very comfortable. Nothing

I loved the easy accessibility. The check-in and unloading our things was easy. Parking was clear and easy. Communication from staff was intentional and clear throughout the stay even when their texting was down they made sure to call about when the room was ready and each day's happy hour and breakfast. The staff was perfectly on-time each day with meals and happy hour treats. Our room and bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Most importantly to us was the fact that we had an almost unbeatable location. We were an easy 5 minutes walking distance into the lively part of town and all the restaurants shops and bars but somehow we were tucked away into such a quiet little corner. Would absolutely recommend this place. I think the only thing we felt was lacking slightly was the couple's massage enhancement. The experience was extremely relaxed and lacked clear communication. It was definitely a one-size fits all experience. The convenience of it being at the B&B was nice but as someone who has been to a lot of nice spas around the country, if you're looking for a more elevated, tailored, and professional-feeling experience, I'd recommend spending your money just going to a stand-alone spa of some sort nearby.
