The staff was friendly, but the floors in the rooms were filthy to the point we had to clean them ourselves. The first two nights weren’t the best due to our A/C breaking in the room. But once we relocated into another room the visit was fine.

Great location, friendly staff, very convenient, renovated. The only thing I could mention that may be better is cleanliness.
-
It was very clean and the staff was amazing
-
Update I got my refund and the manager was very nice also other staff but I still do not recommend staying here unless you’re ok with the provided “roommates” that may go home with you!

Staff was excellent

The breakfast bar in the morning was good, it had more to offer than you would think at first glance.
-
The hotel was conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room seemed to have sand on the floor, but otherwise appeared to be clean. Also, the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. Neither of these things were huge problems, as everything else was to our satisfaction.

Location, spacious well updated rooms Parking

The location is perfect! Close to historic downtown area. Our preferred hotel in St. Augustine
-
need to add personnel, and also need additional bath towels

Room was good. The only complaint was the air conditioner didn’t work so great. I survived though. I would stay here again.
-
Excellent value for the price we paid, quiet clean rooms. Continental breakfast was good. Had to pay for parking $16 per day.

Weekend getaway with the wife. Clean and convenient for our stay. Great French coffee shop 1/4 mile away.
-
Older hotel and woke up to a bug in the toilet. Definitely not a high quality place to stay it’s very ran down
-
We had a great experience with the hotel, however, we had a false fire alarm go on at 1am that lasted for about 2 hours, not a great restful night.

Ms. Virginia was so helpful & kind!!

A/C worked will and in general the room was clean. TV channels options were good too! Parking difficulties, no cold water in shower, room not fully clean, used soap, freezer had something spilled inside, floor lamp didn’t work and door lock had difficulty to open would get stuck. Noise of hamming and screwing at 6:30 am and slamming of doors until 7 am

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay here, the room we were given was dirty and the second option wasn't any better. The only positive side was the manager didn't argue with me when I requested a refund and we went on down the road (same road) and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Place. Very nice and clean and helpful and friendly staff especially the breakfast employees. We booked the Hilton immediately through Expedia. Expedia did their job requesting a refund although the Best Western wasn't answering the phone or emails at first it was escalated and taken care of and I was fully refunded. The pictures online don't match how it looks in person. The Hilton Garden Inn is directly across the road from the Oil Jail Museum, History museum area + fountain of youth. And trolley stop and pick up tours. You walk across the parking lot and cross the back road. Less busy highway. If you're not staying in the historic district, I recommend spending the extra money and staying at the Hilton. We even had a balcony overlooking the pool. We felt safe there and clean but not so much not even a mile back down the road at Best Western Historical Inn. I am starting to realize before we checked in why locals weren't wanting to say anything nice about the hotel.
