Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine Historic District

We booked a room with a balcony but we're not given the room we reserved.while I could have overlooked that,the rest of our stay only got worse. At one point, we sat at the bar for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged the bartender (older grey hair lady) was no where to be found when she did return she was more interested in socializing than serving guest,the manager on duty(short blond lady) seemed to be more interested in flirting with guest than ensuring customers were taken care of. When I checked out I paid our bill and confirmed everything was taken care of on my end in full,Around 15 minutes after leaving, I recieved a phone call asking me to return because I still owed a balance , after coming back i learned they had failed to settle the bar tab correctly. Throughout our stay, I also noticed several staff members spending time outside smoking and on there phones instead of assisting guest. I do want to recognize the positives. Paula the other bartender , was friendly and helpful. The Maintenance employee who came to check out our refrigerator was outstanding. He was on his way out for the day but still took the time to help us and genuinely seemed happy to do so. I wish I could remember his name because he deserves recognition for his excellent customer service he was a smaller Hispanic gentleman.

Parking was very well lit, nice pool area, breakfasy each day was good, buffet only at weekends.

It was close to where I needed to be. Good location. The rooms where super nice and quiet. I've never been in a cleaner hotel. The staff was amazing and helpful. I couldn't have picked a better spot and hotel. Beautiful in the historic district. You had to pull the door shut when you left. It is really tight seal on the door so when you came in or left you had to pull or push it all the way shut. The only other thing was the glass shower door kept trying to open while I was showering.

This is a gorgeous property in an excellent location. Buyer beware, there’s no cable TV or streaming capabilities. The TV used a bunny antenna. This missed the mark for me as I expected modern amenities when booking with a Hilton.

The location was good. The staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable. The balcony was not much. It was part of the roof. There was no view.

New, clean, close to everything, parking, restaurants nearby, snacks plentiful by front desk… close to the beach, close to attractions in Old St Augustine … perfect!

I loved the location and how beautifully it was decorated. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Overall a great expierence! Dinner was VERY good, pool was nice and the room was fantastic. The staff was always checking in via text, which is nice. Very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Clean room and friendly staff

just entering the premises was beautiful and so clean. the host welcomed us and gave us information about the place. The room was comfy, the pillows and coverings were great, we loved it. Bathroom was nice and modern. i loved the 2nd sink outside the bathroom we loved it and wished we could have stayed longer
