It was close to everything we wanted to do while in town, staff was very nice. They are doing renovations and had removed a sign outside but didn’t remove the nails in the concrete. I did run into one of them and it cut my toe but the front desk was very very nice and helpful and the next day the nails were removed so no one else was hurt!

Very clean, very nice breakfast. They were doing some work on the third floor, and was a bit uncomfortable, plastic on carpet and elevator was expired inspection

A/c broke , small bathrooms , not enough counter space, breakfast was horrible not enough food made for all guest. Hotel smelled and room smelled musty.

The hotel was nice and centrally located, near a lot of attractions, including Old Town Trolley Tours welcome center and a very short drive to the The Old Town district of St. Augustine. The property is currently undergoing a renovation, especially the rooms on the second floor. For some reason, a random sewage like smell could be noticed at times in the hallways, most likely due to the renovations. At night, just be mindful of the area. There was always a police car parked in the lot for some reason. Parking also has to be paid for, $18 a day. Beautiful grounds and the pool, although I didn't personally use it, was really nice. Especially with the flowers and plants. Standard size rooms for a Hampton Inn with two queen beds. Beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. It mentions a breakfast buffet. Although it was delicious, I would classify it as a standard contentiental breakfast. All in all, a nice enough place to stay during your visit to America's oldest European settlement(City).

By far the best part of our stay was the staff. The desk clerk was handling a long term computer outage (Tilsay I think) and I managed to change the thermostat from cool to heat and could not figure out how to get it back to cool. James arrived a few minutes after notifying the front desk and he helped with the thermostat, he also answered questions about the wifi and the tv. Location was good, though getting into the parking lot was a little awkward. Breakfast was good ... eggs, sausage, waffles and the like. The room was clean, pleasant, and bright. There was a computer outage that impacted ALL Hampton properties and it lasted over 8 hours; it was problematic for checking in, using the wifi, and television and put a lot of stress on customers and employees. The parking charge was high and I was unaware that we would need to pay for parking. I am not convinced the fridge was working and the bathroom door didn't shut.

The staff was nice. The handicap parking was all taken.

There was renovation going on on the floor and across the room from ours and many rooms. Thus the smell of paint and tarps on the floor. Storage of large quantities of paint in the halls.

It was a Saturday evening and were in panic mode. We googled hotels and decided to check out the Hampton Inn. The lady at the front counter was amazing and turned our mood around. We were able to get one of the last rooms left at a great price. The entire hotel was clean and bright . The staff was very nice. And we were in and settled and made out dinner reservation in time. The front staff even gave us perfect directions on how to get to the restaurant. I woukd definitely recommend the Hampton Inn to my friends. The cost was definitely less than the bed and breakfast and besides that it was a good value just in general.

The rooms were clean. I was unaware that I had to pay extra for parking and the parking lot is very small.
