Merida Inn and Suites

Took forever to get someone to the office to be able to check in. Then about midnight the property owners/management team decided to start yelling and arguing right outside our door/window area. Then they refused to come to the office to handle our check out. Definitely do not recommend for a relaxing getaway. Pool was tiny and closed during our stay. It was also not very clear water so we wouldn’t have swam in it anyway.

Good size room, ac was clean and cold. Room was dirty and bedding and towels didnt seem clean either.floor made my feet dirty right away. Good for one night tho

Nice property but units are severely in need of updating and modernization. Linens need to be replaced

Our family stopped for a night to break up our trip and we will definitely stay again. The parking was small but we parked right outside our door. The rooms are spacious with a little kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The area was quiet and staff friendly

This was was probably a nice little place in its day. It had a couple, now disused, bar areas. It was pretty clean, but the room had a slight musty odor. The shower ceiling paint was peeling and the water never got warm. After ten minutes of water running, I just sucked it up and took a super quick shower. It appears, to me at least, that to make ends meet they have rented out some rooms as low cost efficiencies. I'm not being judgmental, but it was obvious that the few people constantly sitting outside their rooms and chain smoking, were not in St Augustine on vacation.

My stay was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly Nothing at all. Everything was great

It was very close to Downtown. The price was great when having a nice king bed, a big bathtub to relax and the AC was cold for my husband. Sucks that the pool area closed early.

I believe they are renting out rooms by the month to people. It was a kind of shady. But our brain was awesome cold AC whirlpool bathtub however it did not work, but it was still a really big soaking tub. Really not sure why I gave it four stars. I just try and be nice. I went back and changed it to three.

Location was walking distance to historic district. It was very affordable and clean for a quick getaway. It’s definitely an old motel and next to a busy road so we could hear traffic all night.

Quiet quaint old Florida motel. We stayed there about 20 years ago and then again recently. Rooms are updated and clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Air conditioning was not working, they fixed later, room was good clean
