Clean and affordable and very close to downtown

Online it said it was walking distance to the historic but it was a little further than I expected. I probably would’ve walked but it was too hot. The room was like the pictures online. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast could have had more offerings but I don’t think there was room in the space designated for it. I have restrictions on my diet and there wasn’t a lot I could eat, I realize that it’s not possible to cater to everyone.

So loud outside, the doors don't have a proper seal on them and you can hear people talking & cars passing all night. People who smoke outside you can smell from inside your room. The TV was always going out and the picture was blurry and pixelated. There was no USB hook up for your phone charger. There was no elevator. The older man at the front desk wasn't very friendly.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, large and have everything you need including a hairdryer, a coffee machine fridge and microwave. The room is cleaned every day.

Location was great right in the middle of all we wanted to do. A little musty smell

The staff at Anastasia Inn are fantastic! Whenever our family comes to St. Augustine we always stay there, more than 20 years. Recently we forgot some clothing in one of the closets. I called and described the items. I received a call back that they had the items in their lost and found. I was so grateful. Also, the inn is clean and I find they are my halfway point to attractions in town and the beaches.

Great location, great price, and very clean. 10 am check out wasn't ideal, but overall great.

I liked this property because it is Clean, in a convenient location, affordable, and is family owned and operated on-site. There are plenty of eats and drinks to walk to and the Old City is just a short easy bike ride away. No need to drive once you arrive.

Don’t think the 4 stars is a bad review. You’re not staying at the Waldorf. The motel was good. My wife and I have stayed at 2 other similarly priced locations in the area and this one is definitely on the list of places we would return to. Beds are ok. The room size was better than their local competitors. Location is awesome. Just keep in mind that you are value shopping a place to stay. If that were a star option then there’s your 5 star. Only thing I would suggest is a key drop location. We had to leave very early and had to hide the room key and call to let them know. But otherwise, we were completely satisfied with our room and location.

We stayed for a weekend and we’re very impressed by the property. It was very updated and clean. We will stay there again!

The office closed at 9pm, which we were unaware of, but thankfully the front desk called to let us know and we were able to make it to check in before they closed. The room was fine, but the materials for our coffee had already been opened (straws, napkins, etc) and appeared dirty... The only other real complaint would be the ice machine - it appeared as though the machine was rusting so there were large chunks of rust in the ice. For the price, in comparison to other spots in the area, it was a fine stay, but some of the hygiene and upkeep could have been better.
