Convenient, clean, and quiet.

Very nice location. Nothing to do with the hotel but the people on the street behind the hotel were loud.

This was my second stay at this property. First was great and enough to book again. This time will be our last. The room had a smell, reminiscent of

I had an emergency and spoke directly with the manager. During that conversation, he told me that if Expedia approved the refund request, he would honor it. However, when Expedia contacted the property, I was informed that he repeatedly disconnected the call and later stated that he never agreed to approve the refund. This directly contradicts what he told me during our conversation and has left me feeling misled and disappointed.

The check in area was a little hard to find but the check in process was easy. Room was surprisingly roomy and very comfortable. Bed was awesome. Location is walkable to downtown. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. We are coming back next month for a concert and definitely will stay here.

The location was great. The decor inside the hotel was great. The made-to-order breakfast was wonderful. Most of the staff was great. The covered parking was nice. The entrance is on the side of the building which was not easily visible at night. The bathroom towel rod was rusty and the drain in the shower was lower than the shower floor which made the floor uneven. The TV service was very slow. There was no dinner option at the restaurant as advertised.

Other than that great property.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bar and pool areas were nice but the terrace was closed to all guests, there was no restaurant for dinner and unfortunately the location of the hotel was not really within a comfortable walking distance of anything of interest. The hotel design, on the outside, could be described as nautical deco and a wonderful piece of preserved old Floridian architecture! It is worth a stay just to experience that history. However, on the inside it is a want-to-be funky space, that when it had been redecorated sometime in the past, I am sure it was amazing, but now anything that once made it comfortable, homey, and welcoming seems to be long gone. Such as the over-sized pots throughout the entrance and lobby that once held beautiful tropical plants are now empty and collecting dust and the faux boxwood wall coverings that are now dull and old or the outdated lighting fixtures all help to make the space feel a little sad and does not reflect the beautiful architecture of the outside of the building. On my day of check-out I was surprised to find that there was no staff in the building that could check me out. So all and all some disappointments.

Nothing Room was filthy. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Dumb half glass enclosure in the shower, made water go all over. They pretend they need a $200 deposit but refuse to release it after 30 days!!
-
Great location for our visit being a short walk away from the historic district. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. Plenty of parking on location @ $10/day. Breakfast was pricey but very good.

The hotel is beautiful! Love the decor in the lobby/bar area! The staff were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions! Our room was two queen comfortable beds! The bathroom was a good size with nice toiletries! The hotel is very close to St. Augustine historic district! Close location to everything we did!
