Exceptional!! My go to whenever I’m in St Augustine! Location is perfect, the room has been renovated and has a beachy feel - can walk to great restaurants!! LOVE IT!!

nice young man checked us in very polite and friendly.everything felt safe was clean all good.only issue mini fridge was not cold enough to keep drinks cold.

Only reason for not 5 stars is because I feel like it’s not worth $140. Doesn’t matter if it’s the weekend. Bathroom was a dirty. Bathtub and drain needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Room smelled funky/moldy. It’d be a 4-5 star if rates were $100 or under. Be sure to read the directions on tv counter, there is a charge to use things but I feel like it’s becoming a standard for any hotel now. It’s 100 degrees. No one should charge 3-4$ for 50 cents water bottle. I’d only stay again for much lower rates.

The rooms need to be updated. Prepared better for guests. Did not stay there.

Key cards stopped working after first day. Apparently battery in door lock dead and needed replaced. Asked about this to be told it will be done when we leave the room !

The Historic Inn was a great place and a good value. Can’t beat the location. We will definitely stay here again.

When we went to bed the air conditioner was making a loud noise, so we changed to another room. In this room the smoke alarm kept going off. Not enough towels and small ants in the bathroom, had to keep wiping everything off 😣

Clean with helpful staff

It was wonderful being walking distance to the historic downtown:) Our room was very clean and cute:) I don’t usually stay in motels but I would definitely stay here again!!

Extremely clean room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet area. Several places to eat within short walk/across the street. Staff was very friendly.

I recently stayed at the Historic Inn in St. Augustine during a trip to see Wilco in concert—and the entire experience was absolutely delightful. The Inn itself is full of character, comfort, and history, but what stood out most was the warmth of the people. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed not just by the hosts at the Inn, but by the surrounding community as well. I wandered into the cigar bar nearby and later dined at the restaurant across from the Inn, and both places wrapped me in kindness and authentic hospitality. There’s something special about being in a place where strangers treat you like neighbors. The concert was, of course, a highlight—Wilco never disappoints—but the logistics were made so much easier thanks to the parking center’s complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue. The shuttle was driven by community volunteers, and while there was no charge, it felt only right to show appreciation with a tip. These little touches showed how much this town cares about creating a welcoming experience for visitors. This trip reminded me how lovely it is to slow down, enjoy live music, good food, and genuine human connection. I’ll definitely be back.

Great place

Place was within easy walking distance to the historic town center and the Castillo of San Marcos.

Absolute gem! Tidy, clean, comfy, and affordable.

Front desk was awesome staff

Would help a bit of TLC, small moldy and some lights didnt work. Also no usb chargers for phones. Overall we love this place. Stay there every visit to Saint Augustine!

The only problem was that the pool was slimy and cloudy . And left a film on your skin .it was gross.
