Relaxing and great sunsets and deck to sit and watch

Breakfast included freshly prepared egg soufflé and good coffee. Simple and with very friendly service.

Updated motel right at the bridge of Lions on the Matanzas river. Walking distance to several attractions in old town including the fort and George St. The staff was very personable and helpful and provided great service. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. The provided breakfast has a couple of cold options as well as a choice of either omlet type eggs or Belgian waffles with sausage links. I chose this motel because the reviews reflected so much better than the star rating and I wasn't disappointed. Our experience was great and although this isn't a luxury hotel, the rooms were better than some 3 star hotels where I have stayed

The bed was comfortable. No black out curtains, only old cheap blinds. The room's floor was full of sand. The grumpy breakfast lady was super rude. Breakfast was trash. The location is good and a short walk from the historic center. Overpriced for an old motel.

The Inn is quaint and could definitely use some updating (chipped deck, cracks in the ceiling, etc), but overall is a pleasant stay. The room we stayed in could have used a good mopping and a wipe down in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The views are amazing (day and night) and it’s in such a close proximity to all that Saint Augustine has to offer.

Older well maintained hotel right on the water. Very quiet cozy atmosphere. We will for sure stay again when passing through hopefully for a longer visit next time.

Just a 1/2 mile walk over the Lions bridge and there you are. The rooms are not fancy, but they are very clean. The shower have great pressure and very hot water. Each room has a back door to sit outside in a semi private covered area with rocking chairs, deck, small beach and a view of the water. Very quiet and peaceful. I did not partake in breakfast or the daily social hour gathering but I am sure both were good. The pool was clean and basic. There is also an ice machine that is on until late evening. Just lace up your sneakers and go on a ghost adventure, sightsee, dine at the variety of restaurants and even visit a church. Historic St. Augustine has many place to see and Edgewater Inn has a comfy bed to rest your head at night.

This was a lovely hotel in an excellent location in St Augustine. Being based just on the over side of the river, it meant that we had a peaceful stay - an oasis from the busyness of downtown across the bridge. The hotel is based next to the bridge, making it only a short walk to cross back and forth. It was beautiful and relaxing having a back deck to sit outside overlooking the water. Staff are incredibly welcoming, helping you to feel at home. There is a happy hour in the evening with wine, soft drinks and nibbles, as well as a nice breakfast in the morning. We stayed two nights but I wish we stayed for longer. I recommend this as the place to stay in St Augustine
