Staff was great

The rooms are not soundproof. The hot water in the shower takes quite a while to heat up and the handle was installed backwards. There aren’t lights in parts of the parking lot. The pet area didn’t have any bags and there was poop left on the ground. There’s a dreariness to the hallways and lobby. See above.

Parking lot was a construction site with Connex and loose construction materials laying about. It took almost 15 minutes in room 212 to get hot water to the shower. That 15 minutes was what I allotted to eat breakfast before I left so I had to skip breakfast. There were 3 vials of bath soaps that were no bigger than a dime around and less than 3/4 of an inch high. The writing was so small. I had to go get my glasses to find out which one was the shampoo. Paper products were the thinnest and cheapest available. I booked online with Expedia and paid $164 for the privilege. When I ask what the rack rate was when I got there, he said $116. The desk Clerk had no fewer than eight piercings in his face and jail tattoos all over his neck, face, forehead, and ears. I unfortunately had purchased a guaranteed room or I would’ve left immediately.

Convenient Although friendly, I didn’t like the ratios and body piercings on the reception desk clerk.

Breakfast was good. People working to prepare breakfast were really nice.Lousy parking The parking was lousy.

Staff was pleasant and personable. Overall, property was clean, but in the midst of remodeling. Only downfall was pool was out of order. Would definitely recommend.

Very old building! Parking is small.

Breakfast room attendant and evening front desk staff were both friendly. Facility is disappointing. Arrived in the evening after a cross-country trip on I-70. TV was broken and unable to resolve after the front desk staff attempted to help, couldn't move me and my family to a different room, said potentially they could find a replacement in the morning. Smoke detector was not installed and wall plates for outlets were missing. Pool was out of service and not noted on the BW website. Spoke to the assistant GM in the morning, said she'd speak to the GM but without apology. Will not return to this property

The building is undergoing repairs, but the rooms were modern, clean, and very affordable.

Best hotel breakfast in my experience.

Nice value for the money. Easy to find off interstate toward Wichita and close to restaurants. Nice oriental restaurant right past the interstate. The breakfast is one of the best that we have had for a long time. Some of the upkeep has not been done to the best quality but we have found a good place to stay when going through Salina.

The property is under construction. We tried to fall asleep but the crews were still working at 2200 and started the next morning at 0700. The staff, while talking over their noise, to me about it , said it wasn't happening ???! The plywood sheets covering the hotel walls from the outside are a nice touch ... Really classes up the place! They offered to let us stay at their neighbor hotel, but couldn't... Because we already walked into theirs. Pool was inop, no breakfast, nothing. Keep driving to another place , this one is done for.

Such a great place too stay. We will be staying again for sure!
