Motel 6 Salinas, CA - North Monterey Area

Don’t recommend the stay you definetely get what you pay for no fridge, no microwave, really dirty tub, the ac smelled really bad so turned it off immediately rather deal with the heat, bedding on the bed just didn’t look clean very questionable. Never again, rather spend a few extra bucks and be able to rest comfortably.

The employee was very nice , but You have to put more attention to cleanliness and not put too much salt in the water tank. The bed was dirty, I found Pubic hair and milk spots on the bed , It's like someone had sex on the bed and they didn't change the top sheets, And the water feels very slimy—I don't know if they add a lot of salt or what, but it felt really slimy on the body. I hope they look into that because it's very annoying; it felt like bathing in seawater.

How clean it was The bed sounded and felt like we were sleeping on stacked cardboard boxes. Only 1 bath towel in the room.

We found this Motel 6 exactly what we expected. Check in and out was easy, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. For the price it was great as we only needed a place to sleep and shower to continue our journey. They did have a pool but we didn't have time to use it.

This was one of the worst motel 6 properties I've ever stayed at. There was some kind of oily liquid spilled on the bedside table, and hair in the sink. The room itself was all white - not in a clean way, more like a holding cell; the bed mattress was old and shaped by heavy people. Would not recommend.

It was a nice clean room and the stuff was pretty awesome. There's a lot of parking available and it's close to a lot of restaurants and other things

I would stay here again. Its affordable and even if we stayed at the Best Western hotel we would still be in the same area. We only went for 1 day so we had a good experience.

When i checked in staff was polite the next morning i went to get coffee and the girl that morning was very rude the door was locked i went at the time they say it was open to get coffee NA

Dirty and bad customer service

The front desk lady was nice I requested a second floor room, and Booking.com message me and said that would be accommodated. When I arrived, I was given a first floor room. The curtains didn't close all the way, the parking lot did not feel safe. The room was very cold, there were no lights left on, and the bed was uncomfortable and there were no extra blankets. There were also several different kinds of insects in the room, from flies to spiders to what appeared to be a red cockroach? I literally can't believe I paid $170 for this room. There were places nearby doing less than $90 for the night, but I didn't realize that until the cancellation time had passed.

The hotel rooms are fairly clean, though not very spacious. The staff are friendly, parking is convenient and free, and the air‑conditioning works well.
