Nice place clean and affordable

Everything was very nice. The internet was not working, but we navigated around it.

We were not able to use the pool. The staff told us that the water pump is not working. We almost got burned in the shower. My wife was in the shower when the water became very hot. The staff told us that the boiler broke down and they turned off the cold water. When it is my turn to take the shower, there is no hot water at all and I took the shower using freezing cold water. There is no drinking fountain or water dispenser in the facility. There is no laundry room. There is no gym. The doors are hard to open and hard to close.

Super 8 in Salinas is really bad. Hot water doesn't work. you take cold showers. Brush in morning with COLD WATER. Phone in rooms don't work. THIS PLACE IS A DISASTER,,!!!!!

Excellent cleaning staff. Clerk wasn't too helpful and didn't check to see if our room was ready, it wasnt. Poor staff was still cleaning it.

The room was clean but the sheets were not changed even if asked to be changed. My stay was a week long so I expected my sheets to be changed at least once.

I liked this property. We just spent the night here. The breakfast was decent. Air conditioning was great. Staff was really friendly.

Employees are great. The hotel itself is poorly maintained and in great need of an upgrade. I can tell housekeeping is doing a great job every single day but feel they’re battling a lost cause. The area is super sketchy and there’s no coffee in the rooms.

Price was good for the room. Pool was closed, the hot water was luke-warm, and the wifi was spotty/non-functional.

We had a lovely overnite. Very relaxing & quiet.

It was clean. It was an ok place to just rest your head for a night. The refrigerator is quite large. The staff is friendly and helpful mostly. They didn’t tell us anything about the WiFi. So we stayed the 2 days without it. However, the password is in the little key book. The password is “guest”. There was virtually no hot water and that was only for 1 day of our stay. My husband got 1/2 shower out of our 2 days. The TV changes back to Roku (which doesn’t work), we had to get someone to change it back every time we turned off the tv. If you don’t use housekeeping during your stay, get extra toilet paper because they only gave us 1 roll. We asked for more but they never brought it. Granted I don’t think the woman I talked to understood me. There are hookers at the property every evening. This isn’t a family stay kind of venue.

The rooms were clean and spacious There was no hot water. And the facility did not reimburse or partial reimbursement. Paid almost $150 per night. And couldn’t shower. Also was told that there were other guest having the same problem with no hot water.

The place is convenient for me. The staff at the desk couldn’t answer my questions. The breakfast is very limited to instant coffee, yogurt, cereal and bread. The rug in my room was filthy. The cleaning service was excellent.

The "breakfast" was not as pictured. No waffle makers, space was VERY limited, area was dirty. Don't get me wrong, I like Svenhard's pre-packaged rolls, but that doesn't make for breakfast in my book. Was thinking when we booked, ok, one night, Super 8, good enough. Yeah, no, not really good enough. the old girl REALLY showed her age. The cleaning staff may be trying to make it better, but the old gal could just really use an update. And for THAT price, should have been WAY better.

Close to freeway Front desk lady named Alma was really rude. Very bad customer service. Shower was not working
