Hampton Inn San Angelo

We had a restful evening and night. Everyone was helpful and attentive.

Clean and quiet

The room when we walked in was dingy and smelt very powerful smell of bleach. The staff was rude and would not come from around the corner to speak to us. They were hiding behind the wall. Didn't know anything we asked them. Breakfast was horrible. I have never been to a Hampton inn where the breakfast was that bad. The sausage, you could clearly tell that they were reused. Parking was the only thing they had going for them. In the breakfast area, curtains falling. It just looked like a plain old 1 star hotel.

Hotel needs updating especially the technology to smart tvs the swimming pool needs major work the price prt night id not worth it wont stay again!

Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a large variety of options. There was adequate parking and a nice grassy area adjacent to the parking lot for walking our dogs. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and roomy.

I had my dog with me and they treated her really special they gave her treats and made her feel really special. The staff was awesome, I've never stayed anywhere that I have felt so welcome. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again

Toiletries were nice but anyone could add something to bottles. Prefer individual bottles that haven’t been opened. Room was very dark even with lights on. My door was hard to close and slams shut when I had to really push it. Tub was not flat except for a couple inches; nearly fell in shower a couple times. Good thing they had grab bar. Ice bucket lid was dusty/dirty. Outside door on end of property did not close or lock.

Sadly, this Hampton Inn is old and has not been updated other than the toiletries in the bathroom.The room was dark, the furniture was old, floor tiles were cracked, and the carpet was very dated and so dark that it was impossible to tell if it was clean or not. The only bright spot about this stay was the breakfast attendant, Rose. She was a ray of sunshine! Somebody please rescue this property!!

The property was very convenient to where we were going. Overall, the property was good. The only thing was when got into our room, it had a musty/mildewy smell to it. probably due to the AC drainage. We checked in and turned on the AC before we left to our final destination. Once we got back, the smell wasn't as, if at all, noticeable. Another thing, was as we were leaving to check out, walking down the second-floor hallway, there was an odor of sewer. We informed the front desk about it as we were checking out, and he said he would immediately go check it out. The breakfast was good, fresh and hot. The staff were excellent.

The AC was adequate for West Texas heat this time of year. I was born and raised in West Texas, so sometimes the heat can push the equipment. The king size bed was fabulous! The third floor room was nice and quiet, too. Staff was kind and helpful with internet issues that were quickly resolved.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good restaurants all around. Only thing that we didn’t like was the shower wasn’t clean and my daughter had to do a little bit of cleaning on it.

Only issue was bath tub didn't drain well in our room.

Well maintained and nice place to stop for the night.
