La Quinta Inn by Wyndham and Conference Center San Angelo

There is a huge cleanliness issue, I didn’t trust the reviews I read prior to booking but within the first few hours after check-in, I saw roaches in the room and throughout the duration of our 2 night stay. The carpet has sections that are sticky, we were provided dirty towels/sheets, and on top of all this the location doesn’t appear to be all that safe. There is a poorly lit staircase that looks like a person lives underneath it. Additionally, while they are pet friendly there is very little monitoring that goes into leash laws and waste pickup, my wife and I were rushed by another resident’s pitbull that he decided to take off leash luckily we weren’t injured but this was incredibly dangerous situation for both us and the dog. Lastly, the breakfast thats included is modest (waffles, cereal, muffins) but the entire facility smelled like cigarette smoke. When mentioned, to the staff members present in the conference room, they tried to claim they were right outside of the room not actually inside while smoking. Owner/Management need to give this place a serious overhaul if they desire to see any success going forward. Do better than me and do not stay here.

When I went to take a shower, I noticed there was only ONE towel in the bathroom. My son went to the front desk to ask for more towels, and the lady told him, “Oh good, because this is my last one.” That meant the two workers staying in our other room also only had one towel to share. One of my workers even told me that he did not get under the covers because he was afraid to use the sheets. During the night, I got up to use the restroom and walked a few steps across the carpet barefoot. I immediately regretted not wearing socks or shoes. Before getting back into bed, I wet one of the hand towels and wiped my feet. The towel became extremely dirty just from wiping my feet after walking on the carpet. I have included a picture showing the towel afterward. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The juice machines were not working, and the options were basically waffles, muffins, and cereal. It was nothing like what was described or shown online. Overall, the hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Based on the condition of the property, I believe it needs a complete renovation before guests should be expected to stay here. I absolutely would NOT recommend this hotel, especially for families or business travelers. The cleanlines

The check in staff was nice, efficient and helpful. The bed was comfortable and well kept. The room was neglected, floors needed cleaning, the freezer needs to be defrosted. The reception desk staff when I returned from visiting family indicated she had no towels, there were none in the room with the exception of a shower mat and one questionable hand towel.

It was quiet The room had mice butt bugs and too much static in the carpet is not very clean in the bathroom

Customer service was good

The room was clean but was missing everything. The phone was broken, no towels, no hair dryer, no coffee maker, no iron, the flap lock on the door was loose. Screws visibly coming out. Screws from the large mirror half out. We also thought all weekend that we had no hot water which is fine, it was as hot all weekend but found out the morning we left that it was just backwards. Hot was cold, cold was hot. It was an inexpensive hotel but literally lacking everything including the "included breakfast." Front desk staff was TOP TIER though!

The room was dirty. It smelled like dog. The carpet was dirty. No towels. The cleanliness of the room. Stop allowing dogs in the rooms

I want a refund for my room it was canceled I never stayed at this hotel at all. I want my refund for 72.32 refund back into my account. The clerk stated my money should be credited back into my account in San Angelo, TX on Saturday September 19, 2026. Everything! Never stayed in canceled the reservation. I went inside of the room and it smell old like cigarettes bad lighting bed covers old including bathroom. And the building looks old run down not appealing at all. Very disappointing especially looking at the pictures that was shown online for booking. Com recommended. I will never recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

Other than the toilet brush on the floor at the entry door and the roach on the table… then the” buffet” breakfast consisting of warm yogurt and mini muffins, it was probably my least favorite stay over the past year

Bad

Two different rooms and both has roaches crawling on the furniture as soon as we walked in. The bed was infested with bed bugs. It was completely gross to say the least!

Horrible and disgusting experience! Do not stay here. It is a huge waste to see a hotel with so many rooms in such a run-down, abandoned condition. Instead of keeping the place clean and making good money, they choose to let their rooms rot in filth.The room was intolerable. As soon as I walked in, a cockroach crawled right over my foot! There was a severe infestation. The smell was dreadful and unbearable—not cigarette smoke, but like a decomposing animal. The odor was so intense that it stuck to my hair and skin, making me nauseous. I had to take a shower and wash from head to toe immediately at my new hotel.The bathroom was dirty, grounds poorly maintained, and they don't offer the breakfast they promise online. I didn't last five minutes inside. Seeing that disaster, I went straight back to the front desk to return the key.Warning to travelers from far away: if you come on a weekend, it will be extremely difficult to find an open room elsewhere. Don't waste your time or hassle looking for a last-minute hotel.(Note: No complaints about the staff. I waited a bit for the clerk, but they treated me normally and well—not rude at all. They accepted the key and kindly explained I must call the online platform for my refund).

Very few amenities. The staff was rude. The room was not clean. Dirty linens on one bed. Caution tape everywhere. We could smell marijauna in the stairwell. Unsafe stairwell. Unlit parking area. Heard other couples complain about safety as well.

Roaches around the fridge and microwave and found panties in the closet so wasnt cleaned thoroughly.

Don’t stay here. If you do lock your doors. My room had been slept in and the door kicked in. I had to be moved. It was bad. The next room smelled and had a hole in the wall in the bathroom.

This Quinta is very out date, that’s the less here the hotel is very poor maintained it’s falling apart and the rooms a filthy. I booked 2 nights because of the hotel name as previously I stayed at different Quintas and very satisfied, but this one was bad. The room was filthy and smelled of cigarettes smoke. I do not recommend this hotel to any family especially with children. You have been warned! don’t waist time or money as I did.

The lady at the front desk seemed like she was on drugs or something. The room was dirty and the sheets had blood stains. No hot water for showers
