Good

Mini muffins, bread, Raisin Bran and fruit loops, waffles. Very watered down juices. Walls are paper thin. I went there to work/write and the TV next door - at normal volume - was very distracting. The whole property needs a serious renovation. I won’t be going there ever again.

Overall good stay. It was worth the money. Breakfast was good .

A/C did not work properly. Could not control room temperature or fan setting. Hair dryer did not work at all. Only offered one type of room service cuisine (Mediterranean?) Tv remote had no channel guide to view. Small refrigerator was not level in the least. Hallway was extremely hot. Was unaware of $60.00 fee at check in after room was prepaid in full.

The room was clean and very well lit. After bringing our things in, we noticed roaches and because the place was so well lit, and you could see a lot of roach feces along the walls and at the sink area by the hair dryer. I tried speaking to staff about it in the morning, but there is no one to talk to at the desk they’re away at the moment . We arrived pretty late at night and there was people at the pool the morning when we left we saw the pool was completely green. The hotel is definitely not at Stone Oak I don’t even know why they put that on there.

It was a good price. The location was descent. The employees were nice! Checking in online when they sent a text the day before did absolutely nothing. I had to reenter all the information. The bed was terrible. I stayed 5 days and woke up with my back hurting everyday. The side doors are unlocked at all times with a sign that says it is for convenience when clearly the locks just do not work.

The continental breakfast did not have eggs sausage or bacon. But waffles and the muffins were good
-
Another thing I noticed is that staff monitor the ice machine and may check how much ice guests are taking. If you’re planning to fill a large cooler or take a lot of ice, be aware that they may question it. Knowing these policies in advance can help avoid surprises during your stay.

I booked San Antonio location on Expedia. When I checked in they wanted $10 for our 15 yo, I told them on Expedia under 18 was a child. Back and forth, she called someone and the waived the $10. Then they charged $60 for possible damage to the room, said it would take 4-5 to return, it took 8 days to show as a credit on my card. Breakfast was a joke - served until 9:30 we were there about 8:30. The juice dispenser had 4 drinks - water, apple juice, 2 lemon aide. Fruit was 2 apples, no others, fruit loops and raisin bran cereal, two rows of white bread, one of whole wheat with 3 slices, no jelly and about 8 mini-muffins. They advertise a Texas shape waffle and our daughter was really looking forward to that. It was a round waffle iron. There was enough mix for about 7/8 of a waffle, in the cup a lot of liquid was on top, but it came out OK. I asked the desk person about refilling the batter. He did and was shaking the canister when he returned. The batter was very thin and the waffle was a bit over cooked on the outside and doughy on the inside. The ice machine on the ground floor was the only one working. 5 of the 6 fire doors to the stairwells where blocked open with a large sign present to keep them closed. That fire code is a life safety. I'm done with Days Inn...your experience may be better. Bill T.

Nothing Dear Manager / Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally complain about an incident that occurred at your property on I arrived with my trained service dog and was refused accommodation by the manager on duty in a manner that was both unprofessional and discriminatory. Upon presenting my service dog’s documentation, the manager refused to accept the certification. He stated that the carpet was clean and that he did not want a dog on the property because it might “mess it up.” I calmly explained that my service dog is fully house-trained, would not eliminate indoors, and offered a refundable deposit of $200–$400 to cover any hypothetical damage. The manager rejected this offer outright and instructed me to leave the property. This interaction was handled with noticeable rudeness and a complete disregard for the legal protections afforded to individuals traveling with service animals. Service animals are not pets; under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), public accommodations such as hotels are required to permit service animals and may not deny access based on concerns about carpet cleanliness or general assumptions about animal behavior. I do not recommend this property to any traveler who relies on a service animal. The manager’s refusal to engage in a reasonable discussion, rejection of a substantial deposit, and directive to leave created an unnecessary and stressful situation. I request the following: • A formal review of this incident and of the staff member’s understanding of service-animal policies. • Written confirmation of the corrective actions that will be taken to prevent similar occurrences. • An apology for the treatment I received. I am prepared to provide additional details, including the exact date, time, and the name of the manager if available, upon request. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely,
