DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport

Very clean rooms and helpful staff at the reception and had some drinks on the bar they were really attentive and friendly

We complained about rust stains on the sheets and makeup stains on the washcloths. They left a different washcloth on the door.

bed was worn out and sagging armchair was worn out and sagging with stained upholstery walls were marked blinds were dirty ceiling was peeling bathroom didn't have a fan

Airport shuttle people are very polite and prompt

Booked a 2 bed room only to get in the room and it was a 1 full size accessible room. I quickly called to let them know I booked a different room only to be told there was nothing they could do as they were "sold out". We supposedly were the last ones in the hotel (5 hour drive) and since it was lose to midnight when we checked in, all other rooms were taken. 10 minutes later I see a bunch of airline pilots and workers check in and get rooms. They told me I could be accommodated in the morning. My wife called and checked in with them about getting the correct room, we received no call and by the time we get back from our Saturday event, there were no rooms available. The lady was rude at times and her story conflicted with my wife's about how they were going to accommodate us. They gave us a roll away bed but it couldn't fit in the room we had so that was a waste. There was loud banging all morning (Sunday) long and was told it was probably the elevator system. We were finally moved to our correct room for 1 of the 3 nights we stayed there. I will never stay at a Double Tree, especially this one, again as I felt disrespected and uncared for as a paying customer.

The lobby was warm and I stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to check in. The carpet in my room needed a good cleaning, and the bathtub was peeling.

THIS IS OUR GO TO HOTEL. Beds are comfy, room stays cold, and the staff is so nice. Wouldnt want to stay anywhere else.

Room. AC. The room was loud and hot.

It is a bit dated. I am sure it was nice back-in-the-day.
