Disappointing
-
I was unable to connect to the wifi. Pool towels were the size of a hand towel. Towels and room supplies were not restocked. Carpet was buckled in several areas. Breakfast was horrible. Stale and old looking.

the lady who cooked breakfast looked at people like she was annoyed to be there. Breakfast the first day was not satisfying at all. Bacon and eggs were so over cooked , coffee was watery and there was little varieties. No water, no cream cheese, waffle batter was almost empty at 7am. Our room was comfy but we had to plug in chargers in our bathroom because anything plug into the wall caused the lights to turn off. Carpets and office chair in our room were visible stained.

Dirty room carpet, no tv channels, outdated charger ports, no phone/alarm clock, not enough towels, no shampoo etc

The room was disgusting and even though we booked a handicap accessible room, we still got a room with a tiny, nasty tub. The plumbing fixtures were corroded, surfaces covered in dust, musty smell in the room, walls scuffed, and the carpet was just gross. Really, just a few minutes after getting out of the shower, my husband’s feet were brown from the yucky carpet. That hotel IS NOT CLEAN.

Carpets were dirty, Shower was clogged and pool was dirty it had not been cleaned for long time.

Not a great stay or experience

The exterior of the hotel looked neglected. The landscaping was overgrown, the grounds weren’t well maintained, and there were missing decorative roof tiles/shingles that made the building appear run down. The pool was also dirty and didn’t look like it was being properly cared for. The biggest issue, however, was security. During my stay, multiple vehicles, around five that I was aware of, including several trucks, were broken into in the parking lot. When I expressed my concerns and suggested that the hotel consider hiring overnight security, the manager dismissed the idea and pointed to the security cameras as if they were an adequate substitute. Cameras may record a crime, but they don’t prevent one from happening. It was also disappointing to see the manager’s personal vehicle parked directly in the front of the hotel while guests were left worrying about the safety of their own vehicles. Overall, the property gave the impression that corners are being cut to save money rather than being invested back into maintenance, cleanliness, and guest safety. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this location until significant improvements are made.

Faucet in bathtub leaking, long enough that there was mold in bath tub. Got offered another room that had a weird odor, and after a half an hour our noses were burning and we were coughing. The hallways smelled of very strong cleaning detergent. Beds had no dust ruffle on lower mattress, just bare mattress which looked very cheap and ghetto for what you would expect from a Hampton Inn, which I stay at often enough to know the expectation. We ended up leaving the hotel and taking a loss on it due to them not giving refund. And we booked at the Drury down the road instead which was MUCH nicer.
-
The staff was friendly but the carpet in the hallways smelled bad. Some of the ice machines weren’t working.

I liked that the room was close to a side door so we didn't have to drag our stuff through the lobby. Room phone had no cord, staff was generally indifferent, Only had 1 towel in our room for 3 guests, they charged the $50 incidentals fee twice and didn't give us Honors points for our last night. Breakfast was premade frozen stuff they just reheated. Bed was hard as a rock.
-
Rude staff, bad smell in the hotel, old and not unkept. The pool was also under “maintenance”! A pile of dirty towels in the hallway next to our room. Not clean, hot muggy hallways, and terrible service! Never booking there again.
-
Blood stains on bed and really bad smell. Leaks of roof.

We got to our room after checking in, turned the air conditioner on and it did not get cooler in our room. It actually got hotter by a about 5 degrees. A\C wasn't working. We called the front desk and they moved us to a different room immediately where the A/C worked, no questions asked. Thats why they get 5 stars for service, haha. Moved to the new room and went to put our things in the fridge, fridge didn't work. Next morning told the front desk (it was midnight when we moved and just wanted to sleep) and they replaced the fridge while we were out and about. Came back to a working fridge. Wanted to go swimming. Went to look at the pool and it was the filthiest pool I've ever seen in a hotel. Low budget friendly hotel pools have been cleaner and nicer. It was a algae colored green with trash in it. Oh well we thought, it happens, haha. Went back to the room and decided we were just going to chill and watch t.v. Turned the power on to the t.v and the picture didn't come on, only sound. Called the front desk to inform them and they asked if we'd like to move rooms. Again. We didn't want to risk it, haha, didn't know how that room would be. Overall, the room itself was nice, clean and comfortable (after we moved) but the amenities were lacking. Definitely marked this hotel as a not staying here again for the price charged and how many issues we had.
