Everyone was so nice and accommodating will return when I need to stay in San Antonio

They made us feel welcomed and everything was really nice and clean.

The curtain in the room was electric and didn't work. After the maintenace worker repaired it, it worked once and them almost fell off the window. The shower was a rool in v ariety as we requested, but the shower curtain was too short and the curtain rod was the curved variety that might be used in a bath tub. The result was the entire bathroom flooded anytin=me a shower was taken. We were there 3 nights and it wasn't until the last morning that a sign was posted outside the breakfast area stating that the buffet breakfast cost $12.95 per person. On top of that the food was cold and the same every morning. In that same area they had an evening bar and dining room. I asked for a cold draft beeer the first night and was told they didn't have cold draft beer. By the third night, there was still no cold draft beer. I talked to the manager about all these issues and he said they had only been running the hotel for 6 moinths, but that seems long enough to have fixed most of these problems if they were serious. Won't be staying there or at any Holiday Inn elsewhere in the future.

We stayed on the second floor where there was some construction being done on the area that lead out to the patio and it must've been completely open because the hundred degree heat outside could be felt into the hallway as soon as you exit the elevators. We didn't use the pool but apparently it was out of service because a pump went out and the family checking in before was was very upset because they had their children with them and they were looking forward to using the indoor pool but couldn't. Our bathroom only had 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth even though we booked the reservation for 2 adults, the young, male employee at the desk seemed completely confused when I asked for a towel and a "wash cloth". He literally didn't know what a wash cloth was. They really need to read their reviews and work harder on their property maintenance, quality control and staff training if they want to remain a respected hotel. My husband and I stayed here last Thanksgiving while visiting family in San Antonio, decided stay again since we enjoyed our last stay but both agreed that we would rather not return here again.

No pool, glass in parking lot car has been broken into.

The staff was great. Our was clean and location was good. However, construction was going on, the pool was closed, and the gym wasn't up to par.

Just wanna say the breakfast is great and hot parking. Space was great. The staff was great too very much impressed. We use them again soon.

the only disappointment was i was told by one of the staff that i would be able to have a night swim, he gave me a business card with his name and wrote my name & room number on it and he told me to show it if someone told me to leave the pool. well the doors are electronic and are timed so the pool was not accessible to me as I had been told. other than that, everything was fine.
