Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk

The only thing I didn’t like is that the intent of choosing the hotel was to watch the fireworks from the pool deck and was turned away because it was at capacity. The only sour spot on the trip.

Minor thing but others might mind. When I went to use the restroom there was just a little toilet paper to use on the roll. Had to scramble to look round. A new roll was outside the toilet at the bottom of the sink.

I travel often and this is the best property I've had the pleasure to stay at. Everyone was amazing! I'll see y'all next year. Thanks

The hotel was great and had good amenities however the Valet parking at $75/night really through me off.

Overall very clean. The property could use some fixing up in certain areas.

The official check-in time is 4:00 PM. We arrived at 4:10 PM, but it took nearly two hours before we got our room keys. Traffic in front of the hotel was completely backed up. Our car sat in line for about an hour just to reach valet parking. The valet operation was clearly understaffed and unable to handle the number of arriving guests. After finally reaching valet, we waited another 45 minutes to check in and didn’t receive our keys until 5:55 PM. We booked two rooms and requested that they be close together. The front desk assigned us two first-floor rooms near the entrance and said there were no other rooms available. Arriving only 10 minutes after check-in started, it was hard to believe these were the only options. The rooms were next to the elevators and the ice machine, and they also faced the street, making them extremely noisy day and night. Retrieving our car was just as frustrating. The hotel requires guests to request their vehicle through a web app, but we still waited about 50 minutes before it was brought to us. From arrival to check-in to valet service, every step involved excessive waiting and poor organization. The hotel was clearly unprepared for the holiday crowd and did not have enough staff to provide acceptable service. For a Hyatt property, this level of management is unacceptable.

Value for money wasn't there... one the type of room booked wasn't allocated..I was told I booked through third party and there rooms was already closed before I booked I had issues with the Air conditioner in the room .. I. complained.. and I was told that the maintenance will come to check .. he did came in and discovered the fan rotor is bad.. I was ok with the services called reception he told me straight that NO room for my category at 1:30am to move me to.. later after all back and forth... I managed a room and checked out... It was a major bad experience for me with my family
