Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport San Bruno

Great hotel for a quiet overnight very close to the airport. No elevator so will need to carry bags up a flight if your room is on the second floor. Great Breakfast.

Spacious room, clean, decent ameneties Hidden fees not mentioned during booking, so what looked like a good deal ended up not being one. They have signs at the front desk listing all the extra fees, but no mention during the online booking process. Pet fee is $75 which seems high, and parking costs $15 per night which I have never encountered at a hotel. We would have stayed at a nicer hotel or chosen a better location if we had known about all the extra charges at the time of booking.

The suite is fully equipped with amenities, and it is clean and spacious. They charge way too much for parking, when it really ought to be part of the service.

Loved our room! We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was amazing! Definitely one of the best hotels for an affordable rate!! Will absolutely stay here again if we pass through San Francisco again!

The suite was clean and well-equipped. The staff were respectful and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Location, quick airport pick up, approachable staff

Bed was comfy. Got a good nights sleep before a long flight out of SFO. Breakfast was not great. No gluten free or dairy free options.

The loom has kitchen, so if you stay several days, it is very useful. Grocery store is within walking distance.

Reservation was made 2 months in advance and although I'm not unreasonable to realize that preferences are not guaranteed and rooms are not assigned till arrival day, I was still disappointed that I ended up in an accessible room that i didn't request and in the far back corner of the property.. it was facing a parking lot and one of the windows had curtains that cannot be drawn completely. Being on the ground floor there are people walking by - that really bothered me especially being a single woman. The receptionist was distracted on the phone during checkin - wasn't discourteous but went about doing the paperwork while conversing with someone else; eventually told me that there was nothing to be done with the room due to sold out conditions. The wind was pretty strong and my door kept making a light banging noise as if someone is trying to get in but of course it was just the wind but that's still unnerving. The furniture was definitely dated and corners were born but overall the beds were nice and comfortable. Rooms themselves were clean but I think the occupants should not be allowed to leave bags of trash outside their rooms as that really does not leave a good impression. I saw that outside several rooms both in the afternoons and in the morning when leaving. Airport shuttle was convenient and helpful after I proactively engaged. Overall okay for business to get in and out but not stellar
