Hotel Nova SFO

The noise from the street traffic and the airport was not pleasant.

Janmesh the manager was awesome have been here for work and he has been really helpful with everything I’ve requested. Very clean!

You can count on the parking being available, the shuttle being on time, the staff being helpful. Very big nice tv and comfy bed. Really good coffee at breakfast. Love the manager and desk staff and shuttle driver very kind.

The hotel was clean for the most part, but the room had an odd, musty smell. Actually, the whole motel smelled damp and musty. I was never able to figure out the source. Breakfast was minimal and missing most of the standard things you would expect from a continental breakfast (bagels, different fruit, etc.), so I skipped it. The view from my room was horrible. My window overlooked the yard of the construction company next door. The construction company had their bright security lights on all night to deter theft, but instead it was almost too bright to sleep. The motel was pretty empty that night, so the least they could have done was put me in a room that didn't have this issue right outside the window. I probably won't stay here again because there are better hotels in the area.

Check in was good, the guy was nice. The hotel is small but nice and clean. No bad smell. I loved the room overall, is one of the few hotel rooms that doesn’t smell bad. It actually smelled so nice. The bed was fine. The bathroom was nice. Everything looked nice, until I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and, oh surprise! It was full of ants. All over the floor and the toilet. I cleaned the toilet to use it and put a towel on the floor to step in. In the morning, when we went down for breakfast, (btw, less than continental. There were a lot of items missing. No bagels, no cream cheese, no milk, etc…), we told the guy at the front desk about the ants, expecting that they could go and clean while we were having breakfast, so we could use the bathroom to get ready to leave, and he just said “are you checking out today?” I said yes and he said he would tell the housekeeping to clean it after 😦 So, they wouldn’t clean it for us to use it. We had to use it with all the ants all over… it wouldn’t bother me if they would go and clean it. I know that could happen but they didn’t care. We won’t come back again

Helpful, friendly staff

We stayed for one night at this lovely hotel so we could say goodbye to my sister before her midnight flight from SFO. The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary airport shuttle was convenient and made getting to the airport quick and easy. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again. Thank you.

The room was fine except that the toilet flushed very loudly. There was no gym or business center. The staff was very helpful except when I had a problem with a vending machine. They charge you to park in their parking lot. The free breakfast was OK but minimal in its offerings.

I travel frequently to San Francisco for work and I’ve had this hotel on my list to try for a while. The staff was helpful and the hotel overall was clean, however, there were several disappointing factors. The rooms were so small that you could barely move around between the dressers and the beds and the air conditioner in the room was very loud, keeping me up most of the night. The beds were comfy, but the pillows were very thin and basically useless. Also, the breakfast is pretty much nonexistent. I know it’s complementary, but only having cereal, a few boiled eggs and a waffle machine (no juice or protein at all), was a bummer. Glad I tried this hotel but I’ll be checking this one off my list of places to stay by the airport.

The day we arrived we were booked for 2 nights & requested a late check out for noon on our last day. The check in clerk could not authorize it but his manager did the next day. Beds were very hard. TV did not work but after the third time speaking with the front desk, it was fixed. The next day we left for our appointment & left the sign for the room to be cleaned. We got back in the early evening & room was still as we left it. No one came to make up the beds or clean. We let the front desk know & only got an apology plus some extra towels. Not too happy about this.

A clean, quiet hotel that has a shuttle to and from SFO. Courteous reception staff. No frills breakfast was also fine. In short, for $100 a night at that location, super.

Great experience here. Small almost boutique style place, rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Almost hidden among larger chain places, would definitely search them out for future stays in the area.

Check in and our was very easy, room was clean but one bed was a little lumpy but no complaints about the other bed. They served breakfast, we did not go 1st thing so it was a little cold bit waffle was great. Staff was helpful and kind. We would stay again.
