Elevators inspections expired, Wifi log in issues, shower heads need cleaned, no microwave in room, no clock, parking lot is tough to maneuver. Ice machine broken 4th floor. Doors were closed but still noisy from pool area. Tv navigation tough. Should use some of the parking cost on repairs. Handicap shower water puddles. Sink has some clogging.

After checking in, I realized I had booked the wrong DoubleTree hotel. I went to front to explain my situation, at first the manager did not even look me and did not offer an alternate solution. I called Expedia and they were able to get the hotel to refund me for the other 2 nights I was planning to stay. I will not be staying here again.

Sink and bathtub completely clogged and pool had a lot of debris. Old feel, needs updating. Nice staff

Love this place! Especially coming with family!

The biggest cons was the $33 a night parking( um where else is my car supposed to go and this wasn’t mentioned when I booked via Expedia.) I also paid for breakfast and the app did not mention it would only cover two assaults. So I had to pay out of pocket for my other two kids to eat which actually defeated the purpose of paying for breakfast ( I spent more than anticipated). The staff was kind and responsive. The location is close to Mission Beach which was a plus. Overall, I wasn’t too excited about the extra expenses that no one warned me about. 6/10

I chose this hotel over other options I’ve stayed at in the area because I expected a better experience, but I left disappointed. I was assigned an accessible room next to the elevator, the bathroom felt dated, and the highway noise was surprisingly loud. Overall, it didn’t live up to my expectations.

We actually had a very bad experience. Even though we arrived early and checked in, they told us our room wasn't available yet, but it would get assigned. No big deal, we left our luggage at the storage room and went to sightsee. We were sure the room would be ready by 10 pm, but when we arrived, they said it was unassigned and we had no room. It took until about 11pm for us to finally get a room. Very excusing and disappointing.

The room was clean just needs a new up keep from. The floors the carpet all over the hotel looks dirty and outdated.the staff was pleasant. But hope they do a little remodel soon.

No good

Everything was ok except for the $33 parking fee per night.

Room was clean. Staff was great. If a member you get a free cookie for each guest which is a nice touch. Shop is convenient but pricey. Parking fees are expensive and elevator in parking is super slow. Carpet worn and stained. Furniture was worn. Needs electrical update. Outlets were worn and minimal options to plug in near beds

Front desk people were nice. Outdated in many areas.

The pool had cables a light fixture hanging in the pool . The manager did not help us at all during our stay . This was the main reason we stayed there what the manager doesn’t realize is that the pool should have been shut down anyone could’ve easily been electrocuted.

I would stay here again. The pool areas was maintained and kept clean. Room was good. Balcony was a plus. Noticed The bathroom needs upgrade the shower floors and rust at the bottom of the door in the bathroom. Parking Kind of sucks especially especially in the garage because the spaces in between cars were kind of tight. Limited parking spots at the bottom near the entrance of hotel . The area has some trap activity going on , when we were there cops had pulled someone over and drew guns at them as we were watching from the pool area and told us to step aside that was scary but other than that cookies at front desk were good my kid and husband enjoyed very much. I would stay here again.

Booked this location last minute during spring break time and it was a good option! The staff was very friendly. Limited parking though, and it always smelled like cigarettes. Bathrooms were a little dirty as well. In spite of that, very comfortable space. Pool was always full but it looked like a blast. Good overall.

Great stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful with information whenever I needed to ask for help or directions in town.

To noisy, near by highways and AC UNITS NOT WORKING WELL

The most frustrating part was housekeeping. We did not have a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, yet our room was completely skipped. When we left that morning, we saw housekeeping cleaning other rooms on our floor, so there was no reason to expect our room wouldn’t be serviced. We’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and this is the first time housekeeping has failed to clean our room. To make matters worse, none of the trash cans had trash bags, which was unacceptable and made the lack of housekeeping even more inconvenient. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness and maintenance. We expected much better and cannot recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed. Very disappointing.
