Great staff and amenities. Location is perfect

The pictures posted online over values this establishment. It's like you walked into an old apartment that was in disrepair, especially in the bathroom. There was no housekeeping done during our stay.

Overall, it was very good, and a good value. The property has a nice pool and spa, and the property is well maintained. My room was clean, quiet, and everything worked well, TV and bathroom. The property is older, and not fancy, but seems well-maintained.

Friendly staff and adorable hotel. The pool area was great and the water was clean. This place is a hidden little gem in San Diego. We would stay again.

Great location and room for a quick visit.

Good

Great location, nice pool and hot tub. Good restaurant on site and a store for snacks and travel essentials. This hotel has a retro feel which we enjoyed.
-
Nice clean property. Close proximity to expressway. Not far from the beach and downtown San Diego. The staff was great and no issues with parking.
-
Overall the place was great, the only thing for this Texas family, the A/C took a long time to cool down lol.

I stayed here for one night before my surgery. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. They didn’t have early check in so they let me hang out at the pool. I checked in last night after surgery. The staff was not as friendly or helpful. My room was not that clean and I had no hot water.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again because of the desk staff. However never received housekeeping during our 3 day stay. Had to get our own towels each day, trash never removed, ran out of shampoo, and there were ants in our restroom. The location was great easy to get transportation and great Waffle café next door.

Very clean

This is one of our go to locations when staying in San Diego. It’s a very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. Will definitely be back.

My flight arrived a little earlier than I planned for so I called to see if I could do an early check in (I knew it wasn’t 100% guarantee but thought I’d check anyway) there were no rooms available but I was offered to hangout by the pool and got some restaurant recommendations! (I only had to wait a couple hours) but I took the opportunity to check out a beach I’d never been to, got some last minute toiletries I forgot, and something to eat by the time my room was ready. The staff was so friendly during check-in/check-out and I enjoyed the room I had, the fridge was clean and able to hold my leftovers from the day and the AC kept the room nice and cool. And lastly the location of this place was super convenient to everywhere I planned and needed to go and made my last day of running around easy and efficient! Thank you so much, see you next time! (:

Very kind staff, parking was easy enough. Family friendly (?) I mean I didn’t feel unwelcome with my kids at all. We checked in at 5:15 pm and they were just then cleaning the room. The tv was left on super loud by the cleaners, kind of strange. I found hairs in our sheets that clearly didn’t belong to any of us. Verbally dirty inside, just lots of dust and dirt everywhere. Room was clearly in need of repairs. Lifting vinyl planks in bathroom. Big dent in bathroom door hastily painted over. Lamp is cracked all over the place with two different bulb colors. No ventilation fan in bathroom, so it was just super musty all the time. We only stayed two nights and I was tempted to leave before staying the second night but we had already paid $300+/night. The rooms are not well sound proofed, if at all. Could hear pool music, all traffic noises, and neighbors going in and out. Terrible water pressure. Water easily escapes bathtub leading to more water intrusion issues than what the hotel is clearly already experiencing. Sorry to say but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. I think it’s just the price tag that bugs me for the quality we were given. Not worth the price imo.

Always felt like you were being watched. No drink machines, office offered no brochures for the area. Cleaning staff wouldn’t talk English. Long walk in the dark from public transportation. Restaurant that was close was very expensive. Only liquor store in area. I was visiting from out of state and my family and friends didn’t feel comfortable visiting me there. Ruined the whole visit.
-
The room was clean, but there was a lot of noise from traffic, with next to no sound proofing. Light came in through the door, so the noise also poured in

It’s okay for one night. Location and parking is great. Nice staff. The building is not new.

There is a large rat running around the restaurant. Staff seems unconcerned with the issue.
