My favorite hotel

Stayed 4 days and it was nicely kept. Everything is near by, i’d stay here again

All and all it was a nice stay and I would stay there again.

To much noise by young kids on the second floors kids should be place in the rooms under to avoid the noise levels

Only 2 towels for 3 people. Ran out of toilet paper and hand soap. I went to front office to ask for more towels and they said some would be delivered to the room later but they weren't. Ugly cool toned lamp. Slight mildew smell in the room. Very low water pressure. No complimentary maid service for a 2 day stay. Paid 250 a night for a dingy motel

The hotel has to improve a lot in terms of cleaning and maintenance of the rooms and property.

Place is awesome ! They play music at the pool it’s close to everything food and highways . Tue rooms were big and spacious . My son and I loved it . Except , I extended my trip another night at tue hotel . Went the next morning and paid before checkout . Hour later some dude called and was blowing me left messages and voicemails asking for me to make a Payment . I told him dude I already paid this morning before checkout . He was a prick at first asking why i didn’t pay yet . Then i went to front desk to get another key I had misplaced . Then he says I didn’t pay my 60 deposits told him I been paid that ! Great place , great hotel and great location ! That you whoever he was needs to calm down and look and pay attention before he calls and harasses people ! That’s Atwood hotel we had a blast . Definitely recommend for trips !

Nice place. Would stay again

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Restroom was small but the shower was good and had good pressure. In addition, there were plenty of options for eating with several restaurants near by. Swimming pool was heated and the Jacuzzi according to my wife and both of my sons and my daughter in law and there kids said the area was clean as well as the pool and the Jacuzzi too... I really liked that the Atwood Hotel they don't charge for parking! Furthermore, Sea World, and Belmont Park and boardwalk was only 15 to 25 minutes away depending on traffic... Legoland was about 30 minutes away and the San Diego Zoo about 15 to 20 minutes away... The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will come back to the Atwood Hotel in San Diego CA. Oh, it was a quiet place and you really don't hear the freeway... Awesome job to the whole staff at The Atwood Hotel!!!

Nice place i enjoyed my stay.

You can tell this property has plumbing issues due to sunken wood floor spots, paint drips down the wall with patches. And the paint needs a serious refresh because I cannot understand why it is so dirty on the walls of the front door. Maybe people are rubbing their luggage against it…but geez wipe the dirt off the walls. The only saving feature was the pool was pleasant, good size. Lastly, I messaged the front desk asking if we can do check out at 12 to confirm this would be ok—they didn’t reply via Expedia messenger. I can’t say that I would stay again, the property is not well maintained enough and I have young kids so no thanks.

This was a decent motel. The rooms were clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. Things to note: the AC is loud, no blackout shades, and the pillows were lumpy. Also our room had little to no cold water pressure in the sink. Given all that we would stay here again as a budget stay.

The room itself was fine and the beds and bathroom were clean. However, despite booking a room with two queen beds for four people, we were only provided with two bath towels, one washcloth, and one hand towel. When I went to the desk to ask for more, they gave us worn-out bath towels and completely left out the extra washcloths and hand towels. Disappointing service for a group stay.

Staff was very friendly, the were really helpful. Aside from staffing. Rooms were very mediocre, you could hear literally everything outside, no soundproof support from the main door. No main lights even though the room had a light switch for it, we had to use the lamps as our main source of light. Can see visible cracks and dirt on the wall. However, the main bed was comfy, hot water was fine, but could be better! 3/5
