The Atwood Hotel San Diego - SeaWorld/Zoo

I spent a weekend at this property while visiting my daughter. Staff were nice, room was clean and organized. I had no issues at all during my stay and would stay there again.

Room was nice, but the bathroom could use a makeover. This hotel used to be the "Travel Lodge" but the bathroom needs to be upgraded with new paint and replacement of the sink faucet which was loose. The room was nice very clean and very quiet. Nice property.

It's not really a "hotel" as it has no interior corridors. It's as motel as it gets. It used to be. TraveLodge

It was in a prime location and there a delicious restaurant right next door excellent price and excellent location

A/C went out in the middle of the night. No staff anywhere. Don’t stay in the summer months.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was well maintained, clean, and the limited interaction I had with the staff was great. My room was clean, well appointed, and quite large! The bathroom was also clean and well appointed. The a/c worked well and kept my room very cool. The bed was adequately comfortable and I slept well! It's proximity to an actually very good restaurant (Crust Kitchen) and very nice looking liquor store (Valley liquor) only added to the charm and convenience of this quaint roadside hotel. MOST of the other lodgers seemed to be nice vacationers but there were just one or two that seemed a bit dodgy. I never felt unsafe I just avoided walking near them. The pool was large and clean and was playing some of the best 80's music I've heard in awhile! All in all, I would stay here again, great value and great hotel!

All the towel were dirty, we requested more and those were dirty too and had hair.

The pictures posted online over values this establishment. It's like you walked into an old apartment that was in disrepair, especially in the bathroom. There was no housekeeping done during our stay.

Overall, it was very good, and a good value. The property has a nice pool and spa, and the property is well maintained. My room was clean, quiet, and everything worked well, TV and bathroom. The property is older, and not fancy, but seems well-maintained.

Friendly staff and adorable hotel. The pool area was great and the water was clean. This place is a hidden little gem in San Diego. We would stay again.

Great location, nice pool and hot tub. Good restaurant on site and a store for snacks and travel essentials. This hotel has a retro feel which we enjoyed.

Nice clean property. Close proximity to expressway. Not far from the beach and downtown San Diego. The staff was great and no issues with parking.
