Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa

A stunning, clean hotel. Love how it’s away from everything and very private. Definitely a place I would put on my top five hotels on the west coast. Worth the money. Not expensive.

Highly recommend staying here in San Diego. We first came in 2022 and it continues to not disappoint. The property is well-maintained and conveniently located with access to everything.

The front staff and housekeeper were extremely helpful! For an older property, it was well maintained.

The property looks great from the outside, with a convention center attached, and the lobby is large and well-kept. There’s an on-site restaurant, though we didn’t eat there so can’t speak to it. One quirky detail: the two elevators don’t share a call system — pressing the call button for elevator one only summons elevator one, and elevator two won’t come unless you press its button separately. Minor annoyance, not a dealbreaker. The pool and hot tub area was a highlight — the hot tub is large and kept at a great temperature, and the pool/lounge area overall was enjoyable. There’s also a spa on the first floor, though we didn’t use it. The gym, on the other hand, was easily the weakest part of the property: a few treadmills, a sit-up bench, and some weighted balls, but zero free weights, no benches. Not usable for any real strength training. It didn’t affect our trip since we weren’t planning to work out, but worth flagging for anyone who is. Rooms were a comfortable, mid-sized layout. Cleanliness was good — no hair in the bed or shower, which we always check for. The carpet showed some wear (a bit rumpled, faint stains) but nothin

the property was close enough to additional restaurants and stores. However the restaurant onsite was convenient and the food was very tasty. The staff members were extremely accommodating and the facility was well kept. I will again visit this property when in the San Diego area.

Loved our stay here! Spa and dining was excellent! Staff was so nice.

Very clean, modern, and spacious. Parking $30/day. Morning coffee $4.50.

We come to San Diego often but never tried this hotel and we were very pleased. Hotel rooms are lovely. Staff is friendly. Close to the airport and great freeway access without feeling too urban.

Location to everything we wanted to do in San Diego was perfect.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. After hearing about the experience we had just had, they were very apologetic and got us into a nice, clean room right away, which was such a relief. We also really enjoyed the pool and spa, and the location is great close to everything we wanted to do while we were in the area. It was great to come back after a few years and have another positive experience. We would absolutely stay at Legacy again!
