The breakfast was great
-
The hotel is at a good central location close to the airport and off the freeway, depending of course on which area of the city you need to be. A clean, family friendly hotel, did not see anyone having alcohol or smoking/vaping on the property. Overall customer friendly front desk, the cleaning staff was courteous and helpful. They clean the room every other day of your stay unless guest requests otherwise, but when we needed some towels exchanged in between, they were happy to. Breakfast was included in room fare, operates 6-10 AM that gives guests ample time and has standard items and enough options. There were some finishing issues in the bathroom, upholstery in the room had seen better days along with the carpet. Bed (mattress) was not very comfortable. No bathroom exhaust, window AC means room gets almost no ventilation. Room cost $400/day and I had to still pay $27/night for parking my car.

Breakfast was good both morning and I enjoyed the gym. Pool was very nice. Overall it was a nice stay for a quick trip to San Diego.

I was moved to a handicapped room due to the hotel not having a traditional king room available. There was rust around handrails in the shower. It was very hard to get warm/hot water in the shower. Although breakfast was pretty good, I did unfortunately find a bug in my potatoes. I was in shock and not a confrontational person, i simply threw my plate away and went back to my room. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to bring it up to the staff.

Check in there was a major issue with the key cards. It took us nearly 2 hours to get key cards that would open a room, we ended up getting switched to a couple different rooms while they tested keys out. Overall though the experience was great. Breakfast was huge and yummy.

Front desk staff always busy and every time you call from the room they will put you on hold without even letting you know. Breakfast food below average. One good thing that coffee is available 24/7.

Nice breakfast and pool open till 10 pm

Staff were very friendly. A change machine for the guest laundry would be an excellent addition. We were sent next door to the sister property to use their change machine.

TODO BIEN PERO NO EXELENTE

Staff were amazing!! Super helpful and kind. Our first time in San Diego so the pointers were really helpful. The free breakfast (which is basically like a buffet) is also a nice deal. Only a couple downsides - the wifi is slow & it’s by the freeway. Me and family ended up walking to the hotel by the freeway because the bus around that hotel stops at around 8 pm. Not ideal. Otherwise had a very good experience!

A hotel you can count on. Clean room and attentive staff.

2. My room and the entire hotel was kept extremely clean. 3. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of food choices. 4. All the amenities such as the pool made for a comfortable stay.

It was very unsafe carrying my 6 month old and my 2 year old children down all the stairs flights. I asked to be fully refunded. The supervisor was not available and it felt like the staff didn’t want or could do anything to help me.

We always stay at Hampton inn locations around the US never had an issue until this stay. Starting with the cons parking costs 50.00 a night!! Beds WERE AWFUL!! Mattress was about 1,000 years old with ZERO firmness pillows were all mushy like feather down (ok if you like no pillows).. Housekeeping came 2 times in our 6 nights there after having to speak with staff SEVERAL TIMES as to why they had not been in to make the beds collect dirty towels give toilet paper and change trash bags out.. this was incredibly frustrating that I had to make my own bed and fetch my own clean towels use full trash cans and fetch my own fresh rolls of toilet paper. After the housekeeping issues I was much more aware of other dirty things like dried blood splattered on the bathroom wall which I brought to the attention of staff as well… Pros.. breakfast was decent always a different egg option potatoes or other protein option.. waffles with plenty of stations so you weren’t waiting too long to make your food.. bagels cereal muffins bread for toast.. staff was nice enough and attentive to my frustration about housekeeping.. I am glad to be back in my own bed with firmness and decent pillows for sure
