Everything was really good

Very helpful staff

Hotel and staff was great.

It was very clean, the set up was nice in the room with the dishwasher, microwaved and fridge and separate freezer. I really appreciated the filtered water so we didn’t have to buy water. The microwave was not plugged but I found the plug above the device. There wasn’t any bedding provided for the pull out couch so we didn’t use any for the first night and asked for it for the next night we stayed. We had access to the pool at the Marriott across the way but there was not a hot tub sadly. My biggest complaint would be the noise. The walls and floors are very very thin so any walking around above us felt like a giant stomping around. We could hear the chairs scrape across the floor above us too. Otherwise the hotel would have been perfect. The staff was great. WiFi could have been better as well.

Just not for me

Be sure to call down if you plan to use the sofa bed. The one in our room was covered in crinkly plastic and there are no sheets for it in the room. Breakfast was great...as others have said, there's no meat but there were tons of options, including a fresh made chef item (Avocado and bean tostadas, egg bites, blueberry pancakes, etc). They recently opened so I think they're still working out some kinks. I would stay again.

The bathroom’s sliding door won’t close, it keeps sliding away.

Avoid this location!!! At this price point for a Marriott branded hotel I could not believe how pathetic breakfast was. Not only very little selection but when I asked the cook if I could get scrambled eggs instead of the green vegetable mess with an over fried egg on top he looked at me like I was crazy. Also parking is ridiculous at $38 a day fortunately the hotels.com app had a low priced deal. Overall I will not stay in any Mission Valley hotel again.

Room could have been freshened up more. They only cleaned once out of 4 days. Other than that we loved our stay and will return.

We booked a family room for five, but the sofa bed would not extend properly and there were only three towels. We received more after asking, but the next day they were removed and we were left a note saying there weren’t enough towels available and to call if we needed more. There was also no shower gel, and although we asked for it to be refilled, it wasn’t. The pool was advertised, but we weren’t given any information about it at check-in. When we asked, we found out it was shared with the neighboring Marriott and that we needed to go there to get a separate access card. Overall, a nice hotel, but the service and attention to basic details could have been better, especially for the price.

Clean new room. But bar and pool are at hotel next door. Other than that everything was great.
-
Recently opened and well appointed, with thoughtful touches. A great find.

Excellent, happy cordial staff. Happy customers. Families having fun. Young independent customers relaxing and enjoying the casual atmosphere.

Excellent hotel, I would stay there again.

It was a great stay and would recommend it. Clean rooms and great mini kitchenette. The breakfast is good but long lines to get hot food. Pet friendly, great rooms, and had a great experience.
