Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel

The hotel is clean, the staff was cordial, but the lobby and common areas are a little outdated and stale feeling. Parking lot is a challenge.

Wasn’t aware the hotel was under major construction. No restaurant or bar/ both part of the construction / only room service. Construction started at 7:30 - 8:00 every morning- very loud. Upon arrival- safe and phone didn’t work- had to get them replaced. Was exhausted after traveling and wanted to go to sleep but had to wait while they fixed these. The room was not one of the newly renovated/ was clean but dated. Wasn’t set up well for placing suitcases, outlets, small sink area in the bathroom, etc. hopefully the new rooms will be better.the positives were the hotel is conveniently located, very clean, and the staff is awesome! Helpful and pleasant. Beds are comfortable. Except for the construction our room was quiet (facing the back, not the front).

Our stay was fine. There was some construction going on, but the room was clean and the staff was kind and helpful.

Property is under construction in the lobby area. Renovations are needed on the floors as the wall paper was falling off the wall and popcorn ceiling still exists. The rooms appeared to be upgraded and clean though. All the staff was super friendly.

Would not have stayed if I knew that

Clean room, AC excellent, staff friendly and helpful, did not try breakfast. Only negative, no workout room, however, there is a gym next door allowing entry with your room key.

Outdated

It doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. It is a bit run down. Noise from the highway was noticeable. But the location was quite central for the activities we had planned. The restaurant was closed and no one told us in advance. Then there was lots of confusion around room service, which we were told to order online and then never showed up. No car service was available as stated in the description. Staff were very kind and did their best to accommodate.

It was a decent hotel but starting to show its age. Pool area was okay, there were quite a few ripped chairs.

Convenient location, clean, friendly staff. Rooms were outdated, the sink was almost falling off the wall, and our room did not have blackout curtains.

Room was Spacious & quiet facing backside & not Freeway - Staff was pleasant when we checked in - Starbucks Coffee Pods in room & AC worked well - However, No Restaurant it is under Remodeling

Bed was extremely comfortable. Location is great. Nice room. Guy checking us in acted like he could care less. Adjoining restaurant was closed.

This hotel was a perfect pick. Located in the middle of restaurants, malls, and the airport. Central to some of San Diego's biggest adventures like the Zoo, SeaWorld, and the Zoo Safari. The hotel served complimentary apples every morning along with refreshing cold water with and without fruit. In the evenings they had complimentary fresh cookies. Everything was well maintained, including the pool and Jacuzzi area and the gym. This is my spot from here on out. Where are you staying? Because, I know where I'm staying. At the Sheraton Marriott Mission Valley San Diego.

Very clean, very nice people, location too I liked it a lot

Within walking distance to mall and various shops. Clean rooms no view/ noisy- just off of the freeway

The state of the hotel is poor. It is under renovation in a fee places but should probably be shut down for a few months during renovations.
