Best yet, the hotel didn’t charge us for parking and we saved $$$

Easy access to Hillcrest and the airport by car.

Nice stay and good location for the concert we attended.

Property was old and dusty, walls in rooms were dirty and shower was peeling. For the price they charge, I would expect the hotel to be clean at the very least.

Great location need to update furniture and have free coffee

Firstly, the staff here were very nice and accommodating and the location was good, considering we were close to nearby restaurants and Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. The initial room we were placed in had a sliding glass door that you could barely open. To add, the door seals were completely shot which resulted in highway noise being unbearably loud. We were moved to a room that had no door to avoid the same issue; However, the room smelled old and musty like it had an old water leak with old carpet that hasn't been replaced. The furniture was old and marked-up/damaged, fixtures were old and rusted, the water pressure in the shower was great until it wasn't - Sometimes the pressure would drop down to as if the water had almost been shutoff elsewhere. The ice machine that was supposed to exist on the floor was non-existent. The pool and hot tub was the only highlight for the family. We did not eat at the restaurant inside. Hotel lobby was the nicest space in the building - Don't let it fool you. This place is in dire need of a renovation and the owner(s) should be ashamed. How this happens to have the Marriott name attached to it will remain a mystery to me - I thought all Marriott's were at least decent. This is a 2 star hotel. Highly suggested to avoid and book elsewhere.

Beautiful room and great service all around

My stay was okay, but I was disappointed with a few things. The room didn’t seem very clean, especially the restroom. I also didn’t like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. When I checked in, the staff simply asked for my ID and checked me in without explaining the hotel’s amenities or providing any helpful information.

Room needs some updated. Got charge for bistro on site on room without using it. They are going to do some investigate and refund it but there should be sth more before allowing charge to the room because anyone can claim random room. Parking is not included which is a cons. Other than that hotel is clean.

This is by far one of the best and nicest staffed hotels I’ve stayed at and I travel A LOT. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable and takes care of everything!!! 100% recommend!

The hotel doesn’t advertise that there’s a parking fee. The room was kind of rundown hold. The wallpaper was peeling off. I bet sheets uncovered in light you could see that they were stains and then they have not not been washed the room was OK, but I believe overall my experience was pretty poor there

I am extremely disappointed in the experience my husband and I had at this hotel. Upon arrival we noticed our water pressure was off in the room, the water would shut off randomly in the middle of a shower and then shoot out extremely hot water. We brought this up to the front desk and they said they would have an engineers take a look. We stayed for three nights and this was never fixed so I don’t even know if they bothered to look into it. The mattress was also completely work down/ broken to the springs on the right side of the bed. We also let the front desk know on the first night and they said they would have someone come take a look. Nothing was corrected so we followed up the next day. They said there was nothing they could do about that. This ended up being the most uncomfortable 3 night stay and we are so dissatisfied at how this was handled by the staff. On top of this the room was not the cleanest, bedding was stained and the room snd towels smelled musty.
