Very good

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but a few areas definitely needed more attention. Some parts of the room didn’t feel fully clean or looked like they could use renovating. The carpet was peeling back in spots, which made the room feel a bit worn. Also, the water bottles placed in the room are not complimentary; they're $2.00 each. It would be helpful if the price were clearly displayed somewhere so guests aren’t surprised.

Disappointing

Excellent hotel. Two pools: indoor and outside. Excellent gym. Multiple restaurants on site. Hotel staff was helpful, pleasant, and went out of their way to create a calm and peaceful environment.

The property is walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shopping centers. Staff were friendly and professional. The cookies are always the cherry on top to a hospitable place. I didn’t encounter any issues. I did notice that a lot of the guest room doors had scratches and holes on them. I was wondering what that was about. Otherwise no issues that I encountered.

He charged us $75 just to have our dogs with us. They’re small dogs that do not make mistakes in room rooms. I was not notified of this extra charge for pet friendly hotels.

The location was extremely convenient, with the Green Line train stopping right out front, and the staff was phenomenal—a special shout-out to Renee for her exceptional service, we loved her! Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a major disappointment. It is clear the property has been heavily neglected. From the worn, dirty carpeting and heavily used bedding to the stained couch, dusty surfaces, and chipped headboards, the condition of the room was disheartening. We didn't spend much time indoors, but I certainly didn't expect this level of wear and tear from a Hilton/DoubleTree brand property.
