Surprised by the size and luxury of this Double Tree. Rooms were very large. Had a Starbucks and gift shop too.
-
It was good over all! I would stay again. I wish the room had microwave and or a mini fridge included but you can rent it.

During my visit to celebrate the Fourth of July, I encountered several issues with the front desk staff. Firstly, they made an error with my parking and room card, preventing me from successfully parking my car. I arrived late and tired from my trip and I had to run another time to get the issue fixed. Secondly, when I attempted to order coffee at their Starbucks, the staff didn’t understand about kids temperatures, and they also made an error with my order. I had requested a green tea latte, but instead, they provided me with an entirely different beverage, insisting that it was a green tea latte. Despite taking the drink, I will not be returning to this establishment for future visits. I will not spend money on a service that is consistently provided by unprofessional staff. If the management intends to improve the training of their staff, I may consider giving them another chance during my next visit to San Diego. However, if they fail to rectify the situation, I will seek alternative accommodations.

Very comfortable

Everything was nice and beautiful. My only comments would be the lack of streaming services on the tv and loose floor tiles in the bathroom

A little to pricey
-
Everything was clean and well kept, no complaints!

Needless to say, I would never come back to this location. For the amount of money they charge per night I would rather go to a cheap motel. I would get the same kind of room, pay less, and probably deal with friendlier staff.

Property was nice, great location but our room was gross. It smelled so musty. The hallway leading to our room was super dirty. The carpet was dirty. Wall vents were full of dust and spider webs in corners. The caps on the sides of the toilet were covered in urine .. explains why it smelled like urine so much. Not sure if other floors are the same .. but we stayed on the 5th floor.

room had rotten eggs in the fridge ,Gross hairy soap in the shower , Lights in the bathroom barely worked and a whole 3 foot panel in the room fell off and exposed a bunch of internal stuff in the wall…

Everything was clean and accommodating Nothing
-
Pop corn ceiling coming off room 433. Mildew smell. Kind of disappointing for a brand hotel…but great location an ok for price in the area. Pool, pool cabanas, and bar were great. Front desk staff courteous and helpful.

Hilton properties are always a pleasant stay.

Parking is very expensive should be free for the customer
-
Great hotel, stayed two nights. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast and food was good. Would recommend
-
Completely overpriced. I stayed at a Hampton Inn the previous night and the Hampton Inn was nicer. At the Doubletree, the carpet was stained. The AC in the unit would only cool it to around 76°. The water in the lobby was pungent. For this price, they didn’t even give you free coffee in the lobby or a free breakfast. Parking was extra unlike the Hampton Inn. This was overpriced and they did not give you an experience that you paid for.

It would be so much better if there were refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. The plug in my bathtub did not work, the carpet had a huge stain right in front of the door, and the room always smelled musty and felt damp. The pool and pool area are nice, tho there weren’t any towels outside. I stayed here for the ease of using the trolley, but would pick a different hotel next time.
