When we arrived, I found we had been booked for the wrong room. Due to using third party booking, staff refused to help, stating we could cancel or have them rebook us somewhere else. We ended up keeping the room with one less bed and bought an air mattress for the 3rd person. It felt cold and unwelcoming. Over all the room was clean. We did need to request more towels and extra bedding. Breakfast was good with a variation of breakfast items including eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit, and more. Work out gym was pretty nice although the older treadmill wouldn’t read my heart rate. Before leaving I attempted to do laundry and the washer broke twice in the middle of the wash cycle. Maintenance was said to have fixed it both times and we didn’t try for a 3rd. The floor was covered in water. I had to finish washing and rinsing the load in the bathroom sink and then put it in the dryer. They were able to give me a refund in quarters for the washes the next morning. Other than the above complaints, I’d say the pool was very nice and clean, other staff were nice and helpful, and nobody bothered us while we were there.

Only issue was the access control system wasn’t working so we had to use the front entrance every time we returned to the hotel, not very convenient but it wasn’t a huge issue.

The staff was helpful.

They have special touches like welcoming you with your name on the tv! The staff are very friendly and they give you wine!!

Parking fee is extra. Around 25 a night and limited parking in the hotel after 7 pm. overflow can park at benihana's between 10 pm to 9 am, Why charge extra when there's no parking

Stayed in a king suite for one week and experienced some ups and some downs. Upon arrival, had issues opening the back door and garage door with the key card. Apparently the key card readers on the doors have been having issues for a while and have yet to be fixed. Secondly, the interior of our room was okay. The wall paper was falling off, the toilet seat was unsecured, the ironing board was broken, and there was no fan in the shower/bathroom. As for the breakfast, it was okay. The pool was small and chairs are uncomfortable; you can feel the metal frame when you sit on them. Parking is expensive and hotel has limited parking options available; Benihana seems to take up most of the parking spaces that should belong to the hotel in my opinion. Aside from the negatives, the location of the hotel is great. Most of our travel was under 30 minutes and averaged around 20 minutes. Our rooms were also cleaned every other day.

Well positioned, close to zoo and city centre.

We stayed here for our two day stay. The room design fit our needs, and we loved that our suite had a ceiling fan in the bedroom! The front staff was incredible and helped with everything. Parking is poor since the lot is shared with a popular (but not so great) restaurant and another hotel behind it. The pool was smaller but not busy enough that my family could enjoy without having to keep personal space. There is no hot tub, but the pool is “heated”. To be honest our biggest disappointment was breakfast. The staff couldn’t keep up with the rush and by staff I mean I only saw one person bringing stuff from the back. The quality of the food is low so the taste of the rotating mains were unpleasant. The breakfast area in general is pushed into a corner where comfort and respect boundaries can get very tense.

The hotel is located in the Mission Valley area which is close to all main attractions and beaches in San Deigo. The property is reasonably priced and overall is a good place to stay with some restaurants nearby in walking distance.

The room was clean, had full kitchen, breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold items, pool was clean.

Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, definitely a great stay.

Be aware of this if you rent through Expedia and request to pay at the property. Worst experience ever. I arrived late at night with my two toddlers kids and they have canceled our reservation wast not might night yet. The person in the reception was rude and no helpful at all. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me the manager was not at the property and that I had to wait till next day. The reason for canceling my reservation was absurd except that they wanted to take advantage and rent the room since that night all hotels were sold out.

Had a not so good experience as parking for this establishment is available in front and back and most of the time you can only park out back as front lot is full. The back door card sensor was broken the entire time and called to see if they could open it for us because they had been ignoring us while seeing us standing there and they told us to walk around and it’s not an easy walk, specially when you’ve got beach towels fishing equipment. Was a bit offended by that response, we had stayed here in the past 4 years at least once but won’t ever come back,

I gave the property a two start review overall due to many concerns. The amenities and hospitality were the only reason why I didn’t give it a 1 star review overall. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Asked for additional towels twice and never received them. The shower drain was extremely slow to drain, told the front desk about it but nothing was done about it. Stayed three nights and housekeeping did not come to the room once during our stay. Considering this was a Hilton hotel, I would have expected a little bit better quality of a stay.

The sink didn't drain properly in the bathroom Beds were comfortable.

Our stay was ok it would of been better if we didn’t have to ask for more towels or ask for a replacement remote or that the water pressure was not good barely any water when flushing the toilet the ice maker on our floor didn’t work so we had to go to the another floor. Not to mention we stayed for two nights they didn’t clean the room at all. Also when the dishwasher ran it made the whole room stink.

The beddings were very old and, worn out. The pillows were completely flat. However those are the only hiccups. I intend to stay there again, I will just be sure to take my pillows. I still enjoyed my stay and found the staff extremely polite and warm. The rooms are exceptionally neat, and that a major one for me.
