Mission View Inn & Suites San Diego Sea World - Zoo

There was a certain smell to the rooms and property that kind of turned me off. I felt like it could’ve been more updated and cleaner but ! Either way decent stay I wasn’t bothered at all by staff which I enjoy

Front desk attendant was not very helpful.

everything was extremely dirty and old- the sheets were disgusting we did not want to sleep there, the elevator felt like it could break at any moment, the walls were yellow due to cigarettes. overall not maintained well. we felt very unsafe as random people would come knock on our door at different times throughout our stay. furthermore, the room reeked of cigarettes even though we booked a non smoking room.

made the mistake of booking this thinking great bunk beds for the kids. should have known better, in my opinion, the property is trash. grimmy, dirty, stink, air conditioner didn't work, it was moldy, the room was dirty. Instantly left / grateful for the partial refund, but these type of properties should not make it through Expedia due diligence - horrible experience.

Rooms were not very clean

The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or updated with any maintenance since the 1990’s. It was disgusting. Carpets were sticky and gross, the door was literally rotting and struggled to close and open. Stay away. Consider yourself warned.

The picture is deceiving, because you would think it was by water or close to Sea World. When you pull up parking is tight. The staff was amazing they can’t help when they work. We walked in the room and the couch was so nasty and disgusting. I would not sit anything on it. The was ok if you were staying one night. The shower water came out so slow you thought you were taking a bird bath. I would probably never stay there again if I go back to San Diego.

Room was extremely hot and humid unable to sleep comfortable. Sheets did not smell clean. Parking lot had a very strong urine smell.

The toilet clogged, the pipes didn't work, and the bathroom flooded. The staff refused to do anything about it. It was a truly terrible experience and the hotel is very run-down." They call the plummer hours later and They did not Want us to chance romos. They finally got it fix. But with a bad mood

Got a room here and the carpet was wet, the room smelled like mold. Some walls had brown stains on it and the corners of the walls were dirty. Stayed the one night there since it was already past midnight . Next morning we checked out and found a better place . I do not recommend this hotel at all .

The room was extremely dirty. Looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned properly in years. Lots of dust and mold on fixtures, ceiling and bathroom walls. Bathroom sink would not drain. Checking in was a 30 minute wait. One person was working at the front desk and multiple other employees passed by without helping the check in line. Property states there is beach access. It is absolutely no where near a beach. The pool was filthy. Found trash, eyelashes around the pool area. Not a good place to stay what so ever.

Entered our room with no mini fridge, but staff was helpful enough to move us rooms. Pool was a bit dirty. Pretty good for the price though.

Longer in service. The hotel itself is under major renovation to its infrastructure from what I can see. There were patch strips down the corridor of rooms on our side on the flooring. Made me question the structure itself. Open rooms had fans blowing because there’s an obvious damp issue in the rooms. The smell Was in the parking structure and in our room to the point we felt unsafe to sleep through the night and walked out. I asked the staff to please note our time in leaving and they did not. I was told at the time that they were unable to process a printed receipt at that moment. They show our checkout a 1 1/2 post checkout time the next day. I called and got the runaround . The worst part is we paid $400 for a hotel that even on a busy weekend in its current state Should not cost more than $250. The room itself was tidy. I saw housekeeping working hard. Had it not been for the possible mold situation, we would have been able to contend with the construction but potential health issue is not acceptable.

Called in for a leakage in the rooms carpet and the maintenance guy came in and put a white towel on the carpet thats all. They said if i wanted to cancel i could go ahead and leave because they did not have any more rooms available. This was disgusting

The room was not what I expected. There was a very dirty old even ripped chair and an old table. It smelled like smoke even though it said it was a smoke free zone. There was no water pressure. It was just not a very good experience at all.
