The Hotel itself wasn't too bad. The valet was very slow 45 minute wait for our vehicle to arrive even though they said 15 minutes. The homeless and drug activity next to the hotel was awful. We Didn't feel safe in the area. The closest grocery store had many armed guards for an obvious reasons. The hotel isn't responsible but has a big problem to deal with. The hotel plumbing wasn't strong although it worked. Needless to say we won't be back.

The place was great. We were upgraded by the hotel. The suite was very roomy and clean. I would definitely stay at this place again.

However, I will not stay again. Upon arrival, I discovered my room did not have any view to the outside world. The window glass was fogged and faced an internal courtyard area not meant to be viewed, apparently. The room was therefore a very depressing interior closet like vibe. Asked if I could pay for an upgrade to an outside view of the beautiful California sunlight, but was told no available rooms. Will not stay again and will stick to the big brand hotels. Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott.

The rooftop deck offers extra extraordinary view of the harbor and town. My only complaint is the LOUD noise on Fridays and Saturdays bights to 3AM due to nearby rooftop Bars, music, and extremely loud motorcycles and cars. The old windows in the hotel rooms facing E street dont stop the noise.
-
The room was on the second floor, and could not sleep due to noise. The beds are very uncomfortable, a slight step up from a boxspring. Overall the hotel was very aesthetically pleasing, but that was as far as the satisfaction went

-
Nice stay, the room was nice and the staff was accommodating. Will definitely plan another stay.
-
Convenient right in the middle of downtown. Small rooms but it had all we needed.
-
We booked with the explicit intention of staying for walkable access to the gaslamp district. Did not disappoint. Very clean and nice room! Only thing kind of a drag was parking (valet only), but thats anywhere in this area. I would definitely stay again!!!
-
Top service and definitely booking another stay soon.
-
The overnight car valet service of $53/night was a killer.
