Really nice spot to stay, had everything I needed and staff was super attentive

From how comfortable the beds are to how friendly and welcoming the staff are. Would definitely recommend The Keating. Lively area and everything you need is close by. Amazing stay!

Its affordable, its anterior is unique, the staff are very nice and helpful, its a historic building and its near a lot of stuff so you dont have to travel far to go to exciting places. And for the people who aren't exactly fans of night life celebrations going on, the windows are capable of being sealed shut to eliminate 90% of the loud noise. I was staying on the night Mexico won against Ecuador and the celebrations going on outside were loud. The moment I shut the windows, boom, silence.

Have stayed more than once. Smell of urine in lobby on night 1 but was resolved last two nights!! Needs a good cleaning. Enjoyed our room and time but overall not the cleanest !!

They also told me to not leave a bad review as we were checking out.

We loved this hotel. It had a very New York City kinda vibe with the modern amenities. It was very clean and the staff was the most attentive I’ve ever experienced. They were very generous with an extended check out time. We will definitely be back!

Interesting hotel with an interesting history. It is in a very busy and noisy part of town. It is because of the noise that I would not stay here again.

Staff is friendly always checking in. The music from club near by is very noisy and was hard to sleep

All the check-in and out process was done online, they communicated well through WhatsApp and email, and even checked on us every day in case we needed anything. The room is huge, although having the shower in the room, and restroom with not fully closing door might not be for everyone 😉 If you are looking for easy going place to stay in the middle of downtown, that’s your place!

Parking is not included, which is clearly stated from the beginning. There is a reasonable lot nearby that you can reserve. The area is full of fun late night spots. Overall great experience.

Location was great! Staff was even better! Very helpful and kind. Cleaning services are on request but the staff checks in daily inquiring about any needs. Room was clean and ready on time. This hotel is simple and great place to stay in Gaslamp!

Room was clean and roomy , and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again for sure.
