AC Hotel by Marriott San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter

If you are looking for a hotel in a great location this is the one. The hotel was clean and hotel/valet staff were great! Our room was not facing the street so we heard no street noise but our window view was a wall lol, but we didn't mind that since we got the room for the location not the view. We didn't use the rooftop bar but we took a peek at it and it was very nice, great area for some cute insta pics. The other hotel guests all seemed to be older couples or business related guests so we had no noise issues during the night in the halls or around the hotel. All in all I would def stay again!

GREAT location! Smack in the middle of the party scene with a great balcony view! It was hot so the confined heat in the halls.

Everything was perfect

Very nice hotel, but loud since it's on the main street at the Gaslamp district. Also something we missed is they charge you $72 for parking so just factor that into your hotel rate. We stayed Sunday into to Monday thinking it was a week day and shouldn't be too loud, the music from the next door restaurants went on until 3:00 am in the morning. Thank goodness they give you some earplugs but it still kept us up. Overall a very nice clean hotel just didn't like the area it was in, a little dirty and alot of stuff going on in the streets.

Love the location everything was nearby. The view from the rooftop pool was amazing.

The front desk person was awesome When booking the reservation there was no warning or mention about the parking or lack of parking, there was no mention about the ridiculous amount of Noise that went on until 3 or 4am every night, so we didn't get much sleep at all. Also on the description of the Hotel it mentioned the hotel had breakfast, but when we came down in the morning there was a charge for it nor did it look like is was worth the price $24... Also the square footage of the room was not what was on the description of the room, it was too small. So my review of my overall experience from 1-10 would absolutely be a 2 out of 10, I would not recommend this location nor would I visit again. Great location if you want to be in the heart of Gaslamp district!

The noise outside did not stop until around 4:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, our room was also located next to the ice machine, which was extremely loud throughout the night. Between the street noise and the constant sound of the machine, we barely got any rest. Great location for nightlife, but I would recommend requesting a room away from the ice machine and higher floors if you are sensitive to noise.

Had a great time. The hotel was in a prime location and very clean and safe.

From checking in to check out everything was simple and quick. Super helpful staff. Showed up at 10:30am and I was able to drop off my bags. Then for check out I was able to leave my bags even after checking out. Again highly recommend. I’ll be staying here agin. Oh did I mention the pool I did not. Lol Another huge plus.
