PET FEE is so expensive ( i toke care everything)
-
They went above and beyond to make up for a minor inconvenience. It was well appreciated.
-
I live locally and came downtown for the 4th and was completely delighted with Hotel Republic! Gorgeous lobby, lovely staff and the bar was fun and packed! Good to know for the future, I’ll be back!
-
Everything was awesome, Minus the no Parking- honestly the only knock on this hotel.

Great for a family of 4. Food, walkable, have to pay for parking.
-
There's a destination fee of $45 out of which $20 is a good and beverage credit at the hotel. Parking is only $75 valet. There's a public parking spot for $50 for 24 hours.
-
On top of it, they charged an amenities fee of $45 a day for internet, the use of a tandem bicycle and discounted breakfast… none of which we used. We chose the hotel solely because we’d thought it was near the marina we would be spending our days sailing from and unfortunately it was on the other side. The positive is the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and lobby was very nice.

I’ve stayed here several times and for the most part it’s been good. Not sure what was up with the staff on this trip and everyone seemed to be a bad mood. They definitely need some more training on hospitality and maybe leave their bad moods at home.

Great room, great staff, the free bike rental with your stay was awesome and convenient. Overall a great beautiful place close to everything
-
Very clean and friendly boutique hotel. I would stay there again. The beds are comfortable and the staff is very helpful . Location is good too.
-
Everyone was great and the place was spotless. The food was a little on the meh side, but when surrounded with such great eating options, you're not lacking for opportunities.
-
Beautiful room and amenities!
-
Clean room, amazing view from our floor of the city, and overall great stay for our family. Recommend for overnight or short stays.

Very nice staff and clean rooms

This is the second time that I stay at this hotel. I like a lot the location because is a 15 min walk to the harbor area or to restaurants in the Gas Lamp area. The hotel is modern and I like the ambience at the lounges. The room and the bathroom are big and modern and the cleaning service is excellent. It's an easy and fast drive to the highways to visit other areas of the city or places near San Diego. We had breakfast two days at the main Lobby and the food was really good and our servers were quite nice. Terrace area is quite nice as well; but because of weather we could not use it this time, but is quite nice for a glass of wine and appetizers with music and friends. Parking fee is expensive, but considering that parking is quite expensive in California is an issue that didn't bother us, we just looked for a public parking with a better fee near by. Amenity fee is as well an extra, but you get 50% of that fee on complementary food & beverage each day. It's quite good to be able to use it!!!

Clean property with good size rooms. Breakfast was good but overpriced and so is valet.
