Location, heritage status and vibe, my suite was relatively well priced for the extra living room. You can't control the Canadian dollar, so more expensive withe the poor rate THE RESTAURANT WAS INCREDIBLE 2 criticisms were for cleaning 1. There was a bundle of long dark hair on the shower wall before my first shower, I have white hair 2. I didn't plan on any cleaning the second day but someone came in and replaced my coffee, great. BUT left a torn up towel/cleaning rag on my bathroom counter on top of my toothbrush, ugh

Hotel is well situated in downtown San Diego and has on-site parking for a fee. Very nice hotel, has a really nice bar and the rooms are beautiful and clean.

My first hotel ever so all I can say the staff was very informative and attentive. I was told about the amenities and bar. The small gym was clean and nice for a light workout.
