Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff was incredible, location was great, and we enjoyed the stay. The only reason that i gave a 4/5 was because the rooms were really cramped. Clean, but cramped.

An amazing stay! It was perfect. Right in downtown close to Coronado and other beaches. The amenities we excellent. Hydration stations, accessible ice machines, very elegant vibes, and the room itself was perfect. Lots of storage if you plan to stay for a few days. Plus there was a excellent restaurant downstairs that gives you a discount on your bill for being a guest at The Sophia. Parking was okay. Does add up if you do self parking there but plus side is you get in and out privileges. I will definitely be staying here again.

I had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The room was well maintained, and everything exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Enjoyed the stay. However, VIP status was very misleading - it said it includes a free drink per person. We got 2 bottles of water.

The room is a little small, the floor space is a bit tight, but you don’t go to San Diego to spend a ton of time in your room. The room was very nicely appointed, and the shower was great. Love that the room had both a mini fridge and microwave! We had one room with two double beds, for a parent and two teenagers and it worked great for us. Plus, the price of the hotel is less expensive than others in the area, so a slightly smaller room makes it more affordable. The area was safe and quiet. Would absolutely stay again!
