Wonderful. Loved my stay!
-
Convenient, breakfast was exceptional, and evening wine and beer social hour nice.

Great hotel! My wife and I had great time celebrating our 20th anniversary at the hotel and all around San Diego
-
Absolutely overall great stay, everything was fantastic

Our room was a unique shape - we joked that it was an after thought room. It was spacious and well designed. The bed was very comfortable. You could walk to the Navy ship, food, shops, ... Free shuttle from the airport. Our driver Steve was great. I would stay here again. A bit too expensive. Water should be complimentary.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Westin Plaza because my late Uncle worked there, and staying at the hotel brings back memories of him. However, this recent stay didn’t meet my expectations. We were placed in a corner room, and it was my first time experiencing that layout. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it. The space felt tight, and the drop ceiling made the room feel even smaller—almost claustrophobic. The water pressure was very weak, and the temperature was extremely hot with no option to adjust it to a normal level. For the price I paid—$305 for an overnight stay—I don’t feel it was worth it. On-site parking is over $60, which I chose not to take. The towels also seemed worn and cheap, which added to the disappointment. Overall, the stay didn’t match the value of the price, and I’m sorry to say it fell short of my expectations.

The property was beautiful and clean. Everyone was very sweet and helpful. I loved the set up. I did not like how hard it is to use the phones in the room. It was very confusing.

Loved the location and staff was nice and helpful. Spent 4 days there and housekeeping only came once. Had to call and ask for fresh towels more than once!

Hotel stay was enjoyable and staff was helpful. Bar and restaurant were of good quality. Some minor issues. Hotel thermostat is locked at 73f. If you want to adjust, Hotel staff needs to come and override. Bathroom area has a motion sensing light which we could not figure out how to disable. Not good when your partner gets up in the middle of night.

Gym is good size and has enough weight and cardio equipment for a decent work out (it's a good hotel gym). The pool is small but had enough seating in both sun and shade areas for our liking (we're not big "sit by the pool" people). Pool and gym are on the same floor and you can see the pool from the gym. Parking lot across the street from the hotel is $31/night and very convenient (but doesn't have in/out privileges -- which was fine for our purpose). For the rate we paid, and the hotel location, we enjoyed our stay at the Westin and would definitely come back.
