InterContinental San Diego by IHG

We loved every part of it, the restaurants in the area, the convenience of the location. It was perfect for a little staycation.

First off the location was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Didn’t require much walking to get to the main lobby to check in. The staff here are all so friendly from front desk, house keeping and even the restaurant on-site. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any family or individual who needs a place to stay near downtown SD or the airport.

The hotel is very clean and nice and in a great location, but the parking is too expensive and at weekends the place is crowded, also I book a suit for only 3 days that cost me around 3 thousand dollars.

Room was nice, the environment didn't seem to accommodating as other hotels..Not a bad place just didn't feel to welcome if that makes sense.

For the breakfast buffet, if you book in with your stay, it is $30 per person charge, but the breakfast buffet cost $39 for full (hot and cold) or $25 for continental breakfast which is only cold food. With this being said, you have to pay the difference if you go over the $30. 18% Gratuities are inclusive unless you request not to. I think that amenities should already been inclusive when booking with rate given or otherwise should be optional because we stayed and we did not want to use any of the amenities and still get charge for it. In addition, the buffet should be the set price already whether it’s cold or hot menu. I noticed that plenty of people are not aware and I see many guests asking the staff why is it so expensive. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Wonderful location, beautiful views of bay. Nice property. Very responsive and personable staff. Nice bar, excellent breakfast. Very clean room. Only problems were an unworkable outlet and bubbling drain which will be cleaned. The only real detractors were the bath products. I did not like them and do not know if there is an IHG wide product selection. Overall, an excellent stay. My first choice for a return visit.

Great location and a nice facility. The $50usd per night "amenities" fee was more than normal.

Exceptional

As a result, we were left without a place to stay late at night and had no choice but to leave San Diego. The way this situation was handled completely changed our view of the hotel and turned what should have been a family vacation into a very upsetting experience

The hotel was in a great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the entire hotel was very clean!

I never received my bill and I was charged one extra night because the staff thought I never checked out in time even though I left the premises in the morning. I was told on the phone by the person at the front desk that everything was taken care of but I was still charged the extra night.
