We stayed here for 8 nights with our 2 teenagers and would highly recommend this hotel. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, plenty of outlets and counter space, great shower. The elevators were busy and the breakfast was hit or miss. Variety, but sometimes to a fault. Cold brew a nice bonus. Pool was fine but pretty busy. Parking easy and super convenient. The location was awesome. Walking distance to Seaport Village (our kids fave spot), Gaslamp and Little Italy so of course plenty of restaurants. Beautiful views and fantastic walkability.

Location and customer service are good. The room was dirty . Mirror had hand prints from maybe prior visit . Shower walls were not clean . Carpet old and dirty . Bed and sofa were clean . Requested crib for baby but crib did not have a a sturdy flat surface .It felt worn out and it has no support. I recommend bringing your own mattress pad for crib or using the sofa if you have a baby with you .

Having a small kitchen with 2 kids was a great value, along with a pull-out sofa. We booked this place last minute after finding out another hotel we were booked at was a total disaster. We were just down the street and went here around 10:30am to see if any early check-in options were available. The woman at the front desk was able to check us in right then and there. It really made our trip, as we only had 2 days in San Diego, and we were able to use the roof top pool and restaurant/bar area all day, instead of waiting around town until check in at 4pm. The rooftop area is great, well maintained, has a warm shower to rinse off in after being in the pool, and our kids played in it until it closed at 10pm. Great views of the USS Midway and downtown at night. Loved this place, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were moved and the new room was an improvement but not by much. The carpets were so filthy that your white socks turned black, the tv would turn off intermittently, the remote didn't work most of the time. The bathroom door didn't close properly and the there was no fan in the bathroom. The carpet again had a large tear and the outlets didn't work in several spots. The breakfast was so strange with gumbo and black beans served one day and pulled pork and beet/corn salad the other day. Finally our room was only cleaned once in seven days. Very expensive locale to get such shoddy service. We will search for somewhere else to stay next time.

First off I’d like to say the interaction we had with James when checking in was phenomenal! He gave us the whole rundown on parking as well as upgrading our room. Overall the stay was superb we will most definitely be staying here again!

Everything and everyone we came into contact with was great. We did report a couple issues we to the front desk our first morning there. These had to do with the sofa/bed and computer chair being very worn; torn; or stuffing coming out. Our guess is the maintenance had not been informed of the issues that needed addressed. The computer chair was replaced the 1st day of our stay. The room could use a little TLC regarding the sofa and the carpet but everything else regarding the hotel was great.

Very nice stay. Hospital staff.

Nice location and nice views Breakfast time was extremely crowded and our toilet started leaking on the following morning
-
Hotel was very nice, very clean and comfortable was just a little disappointed with the towel quality
-
As a room, hotel in itself as a resident, no real problems except for the slight sewer smell that emanated from the sink after running the water. That is easily fixable, I assume. Pros: Location, outdoor patio bar, free continental breakfast, great views. Cons: The minor plumbing issue, above.

We had stayed at this property previously and it seems to be trending downward unfortunately. I didn’t book an WC accessible room but that is what we ended getting after checking in at the front desk. Not ideal for us, but we were too tired to deal with asking for a room change. I noticed old food crumbs and particles on the floor of the kitchenette area. Everything else seemed clean enough. The reading lamp on my side of the bed didn’t work. The clothes iron turned on but didn’t seem to actually be doing anything to get the wrinkles out. The breakfast was ok, typical hotel breakfast but it seems like it is an abbreviated version of what they previously offered. The rooftop patio bar and restaurant was booked for a private event the first night so we really weren’t able to fully utilize that space, just the bar area itself. In summary, the hotel is fine, I’d say good, not great. In comparison with previous stays there in years prior it definitely is not what it once was. For what it’s worth, we split our trip with a stay at the Embassy Suites Bayfront just a couple of blocks away and found our stay there to be much more enjoyable.
