Ocean Beach Hotel

Really nice location right across from the beach. We stayed here as a family with little kids and the double Queen room was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 little kids. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker but no microwave which was inconvenient for us. The whole area gave more of a 20s party scene vibe. Lots of bars and nightlife. There were people smoking weed on the sidewalk below our room and homeless people but we were on the second floor and it didn’t bother us. There was also music playing pretty late in the surrounding area probably until midnight but it didn’t affect our sleep. Staff is available 24/7 and it was nice to have parking right by the beach. Lots of things within walking distance. Overall a good experience with the hotel but probably wouldn’t stay in that area again with a family. Would be great for surfers.

The hotel was not quite what was in the pictures. It could use some updating. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of homeless in the area. The room was very small and the bathroom smaller. It was very close to the ocean and there were some good eating places close.

Great location. The ocean view from the shared patio was perfect for watching the sunset. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay with your fur babies. They are very accommodating. The place is very clean the rooms a bit small by covers all the bases. The beach is right across the street. The city is fun to cruise around great restaurants within walking distance. Can’t wait to stay again!

Cute older hotel right on the beach. Rooms have been updated and are clean and welcoming. Ocean Beach is a great place with a great late night happening just outside the hotel.

Location was great, right in town by all the restaurants and coffee shops. It is a busy area on the weekend and some great people watching. We got there early and we had a room ready. The beach is right across the street, so it is convenient if you need to go back to the room. The decks are awesome to hang out and watch the sunset and people watching. The tables on the top deck and the common area could use umbrellas for some shade. The only bummer was that the shower that is in the common area to rinse off from the beach was broken. The foot wash worked at least. Overall, we had a great time for a weekend!

3rd stay here , great place close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, beach view

We stayed here because of the location and that was definitely the best part. The rooms are lacking any kind of update and it’s generally a little rough around the edges, but he cannot beat the location in Ocean Beach.

Location is not so good. Not a good area, not safe at night.
