Ocean Beach Hotel

Beach view was good. Staff was good Room was clean but small. No kleenex, no vanity area and no elavator

We were there the night before a street festival and the hotel did give us a heads up that if we wanted our car the following day, we should park elsewhere. However they were very vague on where would be okay to park and my husband and I spent an hour or so walking around the area trying to figure out which streets were closed and where we could park. Would have been nice to have a designated area set aside for hotel guests to use to access their cars the next day. Finding a street parking spot was near impossible and we had to walk about 3-4 blocks.

Great place! Definitely will recommend this place.

It’s in a perfect location. Other people staying in the hotel were calm and quiet. Great place to spend time by the ocean.

Old but great location

10/10 would stay here every single time visiting OB. Right off of Newport Ave so you are able to go down the strip and hit all the shops and bars. 50ft away from the beach making beach days super easy. What an amazing trip.

Cute and quaint!

Day one had a water leaking from the refrigerator. No one came to fix it

It’s the perfect beach front hotel that is dog friendly! The staffs are honest too i left my purse and wallet when we checked out. This hotel is so walkable to the bars, restaurants and beaches. Loved my stay!

The room we had was ok horrible view! But ok

Amazing

The staff was super nice and accommodating. The parking spots were a little tight with a mid-size suv but we always had a spot. Our room was clean and enough room for two of us, just wish it had a microwave. Great spot to watch the sunset and surfers and great location for food and drinks just around the corner. Almost didn’t need a vehicle with everything in walking distance.

Great beach stay in the best part of San diego

Simple room amenities but the location is perfect. Right off the beach with everything within walking distance. Definitely will book this location again.

We always stay at the OB Hotel...Great views of the ocean, super close to the beach and wonderful restaurants nearby.

The location was awesome right across the street from the beach. Noise level was a little concerning in the evening but it actually calmed down earlier than we expected. Also the plane flight path goes right over this location so if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this isn’t the place but if you want the beach close it’s the place. Bed was comfy. Lots of shops around in walking distance
