This place felt like Hawaii! Loved the slides for the kids but do call and check if it’s open sometimes they have maintenance going on. Also the staff was super friendly and made our kids so happy! Especially Emy and Rosa in the gift shop they delivered a snores set and cookies to our kiddos! Made it so special. It’s a great place to stay for families!

The pool is amazing, and the resort is very family friendly. The location is great, with easy access to so much that Dan Diego has to offer.

Very friendly staff, room was really nice with a beautiful ocean view

The breakfast was good. Variety and healthy choices along with friendly servers at Red Marlins. The gals at Pelicans are awesome and hard at work keeping everyone’s drinks filled and orders serviced promptly by the pools. Water slides are fun and bathrooms downstairs by the pool appear to be well cleaned and maintained for guests. Ok, so I gave very honest and clear likes about my current stay here. Now let’s cover ALL the things that I feel completely take away from those here that try and accommodate the guest here. We arrived for check-in on Friday on-time. Once in my room there was a slight hint of previous smoking that went away once the balcony door was left open for the entirety of the stay(the weekend). There was a section of the carpet just entering the bathroom that was flooded. The table in the room along with the t.v.’s were not wiped clean. And one of the lights over the mini fridge did not work. Now down by the pool if you are not there early we found it incredibly difficult to find seating, which is to be expected. However, what I found to be the most disappointing was the lack of clear communication by the hotel staff at the front desk. They tell you that you can charge purchases to your room with your card on file. What they failed to mention was the $89 hold on each transaction made! Checking my online banking account I seen the added charges on-hold to be released when I check-out apparently (hopefully)♂️ leaving the parking-lot for the Muse concert last night I was never informed that the hotels key card worked for the lift to leave. So entering my debit card I was charged $120 for parking I paid for in my packaged deal. Once I returned I immediately brought this to the attention of the front desk who then told me that the 3rd party handling the parking would refund the charge or he could credit the charge to my stay. But he did NOT have the correct balance that was previously printed out for me the day before (Friday) when I informed them of the room issues. So the decision to address it this morning was met with more disappointment as the staffer at the front desk told me the hotel did not credit the parking charges to rooms anymore. I informed him what the previous staffer said last night and it was met with a blank stare and that he would not credit it.

20/10 Highly recommend this hotel. We did the ocean-view room on the top floor absolutely beautiful. The staff is so nice highly recommend this property!

Overall a nice stay, The store is ridiculously expensive near the pool area. I understand up charge but it’s more of a price gouge. The resort is nice so no complaints aside from them upcharging in the little store.

This was a great hotel and we had a lovely time here. We got breakfast included with our room for an extra fee and breakfast is plentiful and a beautiful big deck overlooking the marina. Views from our suite were outstanding and room was nice enough. Pool and hot tub could’ve been maintained and kept a little more clean than they were, but it was also crowded with lots of kids. Overall, a great day and we were very happy and would stay again if in the San Diego area
