Beautiful resort and really lovely staff! We had a fantastic visit. (Only downside: The air conditioning unit was noisy and way under par considering how great the room was in every other way.)

It was impossible to get my room cleaned after many calls to front desk. Very frustrating. When I spoke to Manager offered me a $100 credit on my bill. I was insulted. The terrible service and dirty room wrecked my vacation. Be aware if you decide to stay there.

The resort is very spread out, with the rooms accessible via roads, meaning there are cars everywhere, and not all roads have designated paths. I’m used to resorts where the car park is away from the rooms and amenities, giving more a sense of calm and relaxation. Our room for example backed up onto the main road in which you enter the resort. It’s a shame as if not for the layout, I would have enjoyed my stay much more.

It’s such a shame because the resort itself is gorgeous from the outside, and the grounds are beautiful. When you first step into the room, it smells wonderful—like a spa, which I loved—but then you look closer and it’s just dirty. The bed had visible stains, there were dirty handprints on the walls, and the baseboards were stained and peeling right off. Really disappointing experience overall.

The beach view room was very spacious, clean and nice. The Tidal resturant on the property was great and the service there was really good. I didn't like that the beach is public so while we were sitting outside our room in the evening we had people from outside the hotel doing fires outsude our room. It made us feel unsafe.

The tropical grounds were beautiful and the property had that tropic hawawii feel, which was amazing. Love the poolside service and movie nights for kids. Love the water activities for families or solo. Staff were really friendly and great. Love the golf cart shuttle to rooms. Rooms were clean. Smaller hicups were our refrigerator was broken so things we purchased went bad over night. The store could use a revamp, and needs more of a variety and a few more grocery items. Prices were very high i think their over all sales and profit margines would be better served to have more affordable items, like 4.50 and above for a bottled water soda or drink candy i think finding a way to gain whole sale items such as smores kits at a 15 dollar price point would increase sales 10 fold. Sometimes higher prices doesnt translate to higher sales if price point is somewhat exhorbent. While lower price point can generate more sales and potential higher return. Also chairs on the beach weatherproof ones, rooms need a slight upgrade in design not a expensive one but a fresh painting n few design changes.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Very unique property layout that made it feel like a real resort and not a giant hotel with a pool. Great access to the beach and pools all around the property. Cannot beat the location to get out and explore the area and very convenient to pop over to Sea World. Food is a little pricey, but everything we had was delicious.

I booked a Bayview bungalow suite. The room itself was spacious with a beautiful view however, it had an awful odor like mold, mildew, and smoke. The walls were dirty. There was mold and mildew in the bathroom. I knew that there was no availability to change rooms other than pay the same and be downgraded to a standard room, which is what was offered to my sister for the terrible smoke smell in her room. The old air-conditioning units are loud The walls of the bungalow are paper thin I could hear the people next-door to me and the people outside. The beach and property is public so random people are pulling up next to your room, unloading everything and then going to park up front The public bonfires on the beach were loud until late at night (like 3:30 AM!) The couple on the other side of me rented a fire pit which the hotel offers, but they set it up outside my room and the smoke was being sucked in through my air-conditioning unit, my whole room stunk of fire when I complained they sent security, who said this happened last week nothing we can do about it. For the amount of money spent on this room and the lack of courtesy from the staff as well as the cleanliness of this hotel I would seek elsewhere. But if you’re willing to overlook the rooms,it is right on the beach, beautiful views, things for kids with pool options. Keep in mind main pool open to public for a fee so stay away from that one it was gross!
