Really cute spot. Hotel staff was super responsive. The grounds were pretty, building exteriors are old but well maintained, clean and super charming. We enjoyed our stay.

    总体体验一般般,设施比较旧了,个别房间比较阴暗和有霉味。

As a family of four from Chicago who have never traveled to San Diego, Paradise Point was the perfect resort to stay at. We were 15 minutes from all of our destinations and it was perfect to come back to a quiet clean room. We tried all of the restaurants and room service and everything was delicious. My children were able to enjoy the pools and beach and were able to kayak which was wonderful. Roberto, Kelly, and Sherilyn all checked up on us throughout our stay which was very thoughtful. We cannot wait to come back!

To everyone who is planning to come here for your vacation, please do your due diligence. The resort advertises in a false manner. The amenities shown in photos are all separate paid services which add up to a large chunk. There are hidden fees at every corner. By the time, i realized it, it was too late. They charged me 50 usd for parking for every night, about 50 usd for amenities every day. Yet the resort advertises as if the pools, beaches, water sports is included in price of hotel booking. I booked the hotel because i thought it would be a private retreat, yet any public member is allowed to use the beach and roam around the area, this was a big disappointment. There was nothing foretelling about charges at any corner, so you don’t know what you’re walking into. For the price i paid, i could had just booked Hyatt or Delta, and at least got what i paid for. I honestly wanted to leave the first day when i realized i got swindled for my hard earned money. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, plenty of free beaches in area. It’s a well disguised fraud scheme this resort, it’s not my first time travelling before you think anything, i annually go around different parts of world, never have i been subjected to such obvious scam.

My key stopped working but everything else was good. Very expensive though to be on the water.

Paradise was a beautiful resort. We booked all of the activities that were available by day. Chris was phenomenal and made our experience memorable during our bike ride exploring the area, when we tie dyed shirts on the beach and painted shells. The ease to check out equipment for mini golf was great. Pools and amenities were well kept. Staff was friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Issues: there was a connecting door in the bathroom to the room next door and you can pretty clearly hear the people next door from within your own room. We stayed three nights and there were three of us. It was a 50/50 crapshoot as to whether or not you had hot water for showers. We found out we share a hot water heater and I guess the early bird gets the warm shower water? We didn't check out the fancier restaurant but the other regular restaurant was decent enough and nice spot for sitting outside. The fancier restaurant turns into a coffee bar in the morning and was not a great experience. Coffee orders were being confused for multiple people, pastries were stale.

I was very irritated that I booked through Expedia but the the hotel still charged me an extra $100 for a bunch of random hotel fees and travel taxes!

    Beautiful resort

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The whole stay was fine. The property itself is huge and kind of impossible to get around. Everything could use an update, looks a bit run down. Would go elsewhere in the future

Beds were not comfortable, seemed very old. I peaked behind the headboard one day and found a ton of dust and debris. Looks like the rooms don’t get fully cleaned between guests. Ants found all over the bathroom. Bathroom vanity was breaking apart with no concern to replace. Towels sent to room one morning were dirty. Very bare minimums provided in the room. This is not a 4 star hotel, it’s more a 2 star. The main pool is nice, but the property is open to the public so there is a lot of trash everywhere on the grounds. They also charge nightly for parking for guests, but there’s free public parking available for non-resort staying guests? Doesn’t make much sense. Food is very expensive. Overall, it was a mid to low tier experience. Not what we were expecting for the price we paid. They are charging a lot of money for a less than 4 star quality experience. Would not recommend.
