He had a wonderful time for our one night stay at the Argonaut. The staff was amazing and attentive. The adjoining restaurant was nice and we had a great breakfast with a fifteen percent discount. The room was perfectly clean. There were no issues. We had plenty of clean towels and extra pillows. The locations fabulous, and there's not a closer location that I would recommend by the wharf, lots to do and plenty to see.And all accessible from a quick, easy walk. I will always recommend the Argonaut.

Location was great. The beds were comfy. No outside noise so we slept great. I’m gluten free and they had items for that as well.

I love the Argonaut! We stay there every time we come to San Francisco. This hotel is in the perfect location. It’s a very nice hotel, but not overly fancy, to the point of snobbery. The lobby is cozy, the hallways and rooms are so nice, with a rustic and classy nautical theme.

My family and I loved our stay at the Argonaut. Superb location for a visit to Sf - walkable to North Beach and next to the start/end of best Cable Car line. Nice restaurant for breakfast or other meals. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel and rooms were very clean, upscale, yet fun with a nautical theme. Easily recommend.

Very nice hotel and great location.

Great location, beautiful hotel
-
Suite was beautiful - other than super dated bathroom- bathtub was extremely old and cracked kids refused to use it . Room service food was hit or miss - we ordered once and liked only half of our dishes … had another complaint that I addressed with the staff when I left . I think it’s a nice place to stay convenient location - I would not overpay for suite especially known my their bathrooms are not updated - I would not eat there a lot better options around - Cafe De Casa right behind hotel with amazing Brazilian coffee and breakfast !

This is a unique hotel at a great location on the wharf. Uniquely decorated and staff are very nice.
-
Beautiful hotel and location. The rooms however were small and the beds were smaller than I expected… felt like full size rather than queen.
-
Great location, very quaint hotel!
-
Great location for exploring the Wharf areas and Alcatraz Island. Close to bike rentals to head to Golden Gate Bridge. Would return for sure.

Love the area!!
-
Wonderful friendly welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Prime location for all SF and Wharf attractions without having to go very far. The food at the Blue Mermaid is worth every bite. Would definitely come back!

Such a fantastic boutique hotel in between Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. It is nautical themed but not in a cheesy way. Our kids loved it and so did we adults. The only thing that surprised us was the $35/day Guest Fee that no one told us about, even upon check-in…it covered things like “water dispenser in the lobby” and “use of Xbox in the lobby when available.” It would have been nice if the gentleman mentioned any of this during the check-in process.

Also, I felt a bit like I was in a store with all the things that are for sale in the room.

The biggest disappointment was that the hotel looked very different in person from the impression we got from the photos online. The photos made the property look much fresher and more inviting than what we experienced when we arrived. The room was also disappointing, especially the view. Many of the room descriptions and photos emphasized having a “view,” but our view was mostly of a rooftop from the second floor, which was definitely not what we expected. The hotel restaurant was expensive, but unfortunately, the quality of the food did not match the prices. Overall, the hotel felt much more dated and worn than we expected based on how it was presented online. For the price and our expectations, we were disappointed with our stay.
