Just booked my second stay for this hotel. We loved this hotel. The location is perrrrfect....so many restaurants and shops. Practically next door to the Buena Vista which was a huge pleasant surprise. Great local coffee shop across the street, and 2 really good breakfast spots also across the street. Trolley access, bike tours are super close by... everything. If you are traveling for the San Francisco marathon, this is a great spot.

Great location, great hotel! Definitely would come back

We had a bit of a hiccup with the room we originally booked which wasn't available. The staff were great to deal with and offered alternative options to compensate us. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the room was lovely and clean, however the location was a bit noisy for us. Overall a good location to Fishmans Wharf.

Awesome location Modern, stylish design with a nice vibe Clean Good price / value *The air conditioning in the room was old and noisy *We got a wrong room for the first night with two beds instead of one king, weren’t informed about this in advance (noticed when entered) and there was no room with one bed available. We got the right room next day but weren’t compensated for it * the swimming pool was closed during our stay * the night receptionist during our check in was visibly annoyed and angry * the additional charges are not clearly defined/described. We got one understanding about it from the message, another (that everything is paid) from the receptionist) and in the end were charged 6.2 $ from our deposit without explanation.

Hotel is very well ran, although the pool was closed for an extended period of time. 5* overall and would return

The lounge and adjacent bar are spacious and a nice place to enjoy our complimentary welcome cocktail. Would recommend

Location, clean and pre booked parking is a must, we booked well in advance and got the room and parking at a very good rate. Noise from outside, bins at 5.30am, road sweeping 2.00 till 5.00 am (not all the time, we just happened to be staying while it was done). I would chose a courtyard facing room next time.

Very good

The hotels good for San Francisco, especially with self parking. It definitely did not have a partial or ocean front as specified on its website. It has a 10 minute walk to the wharf and other tourist attraction such as Ghirardelli chocolate factory. The hotel was very nice for a good night sleep!!

While the property itself is older, as most are in San Francisco, it was well updated and very nice. Beautiful lobby, and very clean. At check in the staff were welcoming and very accommodating of my disability. Once to the room we noticed how clean and fresh everything was. The beds were so comfortable and sheets and pillows were very soft. Staff brought a refrigerator to store my medication and we were off for a wonderful vacation. The hotel offers free cocktails as you check in and has coffee for your mornings. I typically do not like hotel ice/water but this was the first time that the taste was clean and fresh so we regularly filled our water bottles. The pool was undergoing maintenance so we couldn’t use that, but will next visit. The parking on site was perfect. They have security at the door and don’t even let in DoorDash, but rather they have a cart where you can pick up your order. We felt safe the entire time. The location could not have been better, especially as first time SF visitors. They even surprised me with a gift, balloons and card on my birthday!! I highly recommend Hotel Caza and will return because our stay was absolutely wonderful.

Another complaint is when checking in we were informed of a destination charge daily over and above what we had pre-paid. This needs to be reported in the listing by Expedia. All in all however it’s a good place to stay in San Francisco

We requested an early check in when we arrived. They told us that they had a room ready so it was no issue BUT they charged us an extra $60 + $10.70 taxes. I have never in all of my years ever been charged for an early check in when the room was already cleaned and ready for check in.

Exceptional

Great location & distance to wharf. This was the first time staying at this hotel. We arrived 2 hours before check-in but was able to check in early. Staff was very friendly & professional. Room was clean & had good space. Highly recommend management to install grab bar in shower to prevent any falls. Nice & spacious lounge area & entertainment area.

A very clean hotel with great staff, nice bar. Great location, parking was very easy to park on top or in their garage. Very safe to walk to all attractions at fishermen's wharf

Nice place, I highly recommend it. Centrally located near wharf and other attractions!

The hotel itself was reasonably maintained, but the room offered very little sound insulation. I could hear almost everything happening outside, making it difficult to sleep. The staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming, and customer service felt lacking. Overall, it was not the experience I expected.
