Close to Fisherman’s Wharf and tourist hub Nothing I didn’t really like

The room was well laid out and modern.

no breakfast offerings. But we went across the street to the Marriott and had an excellent breakfast.

High end remodel in this hotel, looks beautiful. Awkward elevator in the lobby, no microwave in the rooms, expensive food and snacks in the lobby ($7.00 for a bottle of water). It is centrally located and walkable to many of the local sights. No breakfast included in room rate.

Shortly after the vehicle was returned to us, we discovered significant damage to our 24" rim. Cadillac quoted over $1,000 for replacement, and no damage had been disclosed to us by valet. We reported it immediately and spent nearly two months cooperating with the claims process and providing photos, documentation and the dealer estimate. The claims representative repeatedly told us she was waiting for information from the hotel. The claim was ultimately denied with a brief statement that there was "no liability," without a meaningful explanation of the evidence supporting that conclusion. Accidents can happen, but the lack of communication and accountability afterward has been extremely disappointing. For a Hyatt property charging $80 for valet service a night, we expected the hotel to take a much more active role in resolving damage discovered after our vehicle was returned. We are still trying to get this resolved.

The stay was awesome, it was my pre-birthday weekend. Loved the easy access to the Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. Easily a repeat stay in the future.

i thought the food in the downstairs restaurant was very poor, i was sorry i went down to have breakfast in all honesty.

Superb

There was a very long check-in process after we traveled over 12 hours to make it into the city, no one offered to help with luggage as we stood in line. The primary elevator was very difficult to call and sounded terrible on our first ride up to our floor. The smell of our hotel room was very strong of chemicals. We didn't have any coffee pods in our room. We struggled to open our window for fresh air. There were street races and parties all night until 3 or 4 in the morning so loud we couldn't sleep. No one answered when we called valet in the morning.

We liked everything, the room, the swimming pool and the location. I'm waiting for the hotel to reply if they found my coat, which I left in the wardrobe in room 517.

The room was in great condition and clean. The shower curtain was the only thing that could use to be replaced. The staff was nice. Breakfast is not included and it is an adjoining restaurant / bar. The overnight valet parking rate seemed quite high but you pay for convenience I guess.

Location. Doesn't meet Hyatt standards. Not a bad hotel necessarily, but not a Hyatt. Holiday Inn Express directly across the street is a much better value.

The room was very clean and spacious. We loved how close it was to everything on the wharf

Great other than paid more to book a room with a king bed and got 2 queens

The Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf was a very clean hotel. The price I paid included a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. We visited the bar that had a nice atmosphere but it was pricey unless you were there for happy hour. They have a sundries shop with drinks, snacks etc. that was convenient. Close to fisherman’s wharf but still a few blocks walk. There is valet parking but it is pricey. All of the employees and valet staff were amazing!

Good location, easy to walk to Fisherman's Wharf. For a large double room why was there only one chair. Both occupants want to sit at times. Unhappy with the coffee machine and disposable cups. Lack of pictures on the wall - hardly a boutique hotel.

It is a very nice hotel in a great location for sightseeing and exploring the city. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the city. The bed was also very comfortable. We were planning to rent bicycles for two days, so we asked the reception if there was a safe place where we could store them. They told us that we could keep them in the hotel garage and that the valet would let us know where to park them. Based on this information, we went ahead and rented the bikes. Unfortunately, when we arrived with the bikes and asked the valet where we could leave them, his response was very rude and dismissive. He told us that the hotel did not have bike racks or anywhere to store bicycles. When we explained that reception had told us otherwise, he simply told us to go down to the parking garage and leave them at the entrance, where they had a lot of old furniture, boxes, and other items. The hotel had recently completed a renovation, and this area of the parking garage was being used to store old furniture, boxes, and miscellaneous items. We also found an old bike rack there, buried under a pile of things and with difficult access. Since it was already too late to return the bikes because the rental shop was closed, we had no choice but to lock them together and place some boxes around them so they would be less visible from the street. The main issue was that the reception staff gave us incorrect information, while the valet seemed completely uninterested in helping us find a safe solution. He was not busy at the time, but he made no effort to help us. It was disappointing that the reception did not know they no longer had a proper place to store bicycles, and that the valet was so unhelpful when we explained the situation.
