Travelodge by Wyndham by Fisherman's Wharf

Fantastic customer service by staff, very helpful. It was my first time in San Fransisco and wanted one overnight stay whilst I was booked on tours. The location was perfect, a 20 minute walk down to the pier and Alcatraz boarding and 6 minutes to the cable cart ticket office. The room was lovely, comfy mattress and all the amenities needed. Very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonable cost stay in SF. Parking was $25 per night. Thank you to all staff.

Clean and comfortable Drab decor

The location is awesome. Just a short stroll to fisherman’s wharf, ferries, trams and airport metro links. It had everything we needed and the fridge and microwave was a bonus. We found a supermarket about 20 minutes walk away, and a pharmacy was right across the road. The staff were lovely and let us check in a little early as we had an overnight flight which arrived at 6.30. Nothing to add. It was in line with what you expect from a cheaper priced hotel in San Francisco

Second stay here in about as many years. Front desk staff very helpful and accommodating even holding a delivery from an online retailer to replace a misplaced personal item. The motel is functionally modern while in general kept its original MCM vibes although. It is located in a busy intersection so there is a lot of outside noise through the early evening. By bedtime, traffic noise is unobtrusive. Have no issues returning to this place.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Parking lot was small and a bit tricky to manuver but glad it was there. Very convenient to just walk, only about 3 blocks from wharf and lots of restuarants n shops.

Location was great. Extremely economical parking and was very lucky to get a space. It is on a first come first served bases. Fridge in the room along with coffee making facilities. Daily cleaning was good. Not much storage space or table etc. Would have liked to be able to pre-pay/reserve a parking space. Sink was outside the bathroom so had to disturb fellow traveller and lacked privacy. It may have been the coincidence of the World Cup as the pre night room rate seemed very high; but the location was good!

Really good location and good value. Not to expect a big hotel, but great to sleep and use as base for visit.

Terrible room, so small we couldn’t open suitcases. 3 rd floor , no elevator, stairs terrible. Staff awful.

Really conveniently located, you can walk to the water front on flat ground (unique in SF) safely located too as a female, clean and a good value stop of you want to be in town. WiFi was good and tea and coffee available in the lobby! You have to carry you suitcases up and down steps but to be fair when the hotel saw us they did offer to assist us which was great but it’s hard if you have many cases to keep safe and carry them up and down stairs alone

Location is great. Room was old and smelled like it had been smoked it.

Fabulous staff and the location was central for getting bus tours and a short walk to Fishermans Wharf and Pier39.
