Quiet and clean

Excellent accommodations! This hostel is truly a 'little habitat of humanity' with a very nice common area. Everything is well-organized for guest comfort at Chapter, and I especially enjoyed spending time in the community room; which has a well equipped kitchen. The entire place is clean and accommodating. The shared bathrooms are always spotless, and the shower rooms are modern and clean with plenty of hot water!

Everyone was so nice at the hostel and knowledgeable about the City and Really were helping out a lot when I needed any questions answered. I would definitely tell my friends and family to stay here. Thanks a lot lot chapter.

I loved my stay at the Chapter. It was clean, organized, not crowded, quiet. I would stay again. The room was so cozy, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was clean and organized. I also loved the location. Very safe area, close to public transportation. Price was great.

Very clean

I liked that they keep your bags until 10pm even after 10pm. I think my soap pick up mice dung, though. I might be wrong, but it looked like it so I had to throw it away.

This hostel isn’t as homey as some I’ve stayed at. They have a lounge with a couple of little private work pods and bare bones kitchen. You can store and microwave food, but you can’t cook a meal. The bath facility was good but only one per floor. I slept in one of their “deluxe pods”. It was just a bed inside of a box, enclosed by a curtain over the entry. Not that it felt cramped, but I was kind of expecting a little desk or storage or something. It was in a mixed gender room. They have secure lockers- bring your own lock.

The general areas were not clean, the other travellers left the kitchen and washrooms dirty and male hair in the bathroom drain. The water pressure is not ideal if you’re looking to get a nice shower. There is an odour in the hallways. The redeeming quality is the bed that was cozy.

Overall okay, the main issue was that one of the other members throughout the night would just pass gas and talk in their sleep. Another person just changed right in the open. Place is clean though.

1 night stay and since I arrived late, I like the ability to still be able to access the building. The room was a good size. I wasn’t that pleased about the shower room. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to see under the shower doors (privacy).
