FOUND Hotel, San Francisco

Great place, for natives you know the location is at the cusp of the tenderloin so it’s a little jank. The room did have a weird smell the entire stay that would not go away.

Everything was great, clean room, coffee & amenities, great location. Only small complaint was our room was very small for 3 people, only bunk beds, barely room to move around.

Room was clean! It was clearly an old building but it still seemed maintained well. The staff were super nice and the rooms were cleaned every other day. Had a good selection of amenities, one thing to be aware of is that there aren’t mini fridges in each room, instead there was one shared fridge for all guests and it was always completely full which made leftovers we brought back a little impossible. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Good beds, great location -

It was clean and fitted for solo travelers! The location is not welcoming and not friendly to say the least. With that being said, It is a nice location for public transportation. Additionally, the room is very minimalistic and did not have a vault for example.

Beds were comfortable. The lounge and kitchenette are useful. Most rooms smell quite bad of sewage. Airing them helps, but it builds up. The rooms are tiny, and there are some that are even smaller.

This is not a hotel it is a youth hostel so perfectly suitable if you’re travelling, not suitable for families. The room was tiny and you literally couldn’t not move if you have any luggage. The bathroom was clean but nowhere to store anything and the room itself was quite dated. We were in a room with 2 children right next to the communal area so there were people chatting and drinking until the early hours of the morning so again not ideal if you have children or just want to sleep!! The staff were lovely but I would not recommend this hotel unless you are a young person travelling.the location is fairly central but again with children we did not feel safe and needed to get taxis everywhere especially in the evening

Location was great close to centre of city and for location was good value As a family of four we booked a quad room. It was two bunk beds and no room to open a suitcase it was a very small room. We booked for two nights but only stayed one as we could not manage with 2 adults and two teenagers

Pleasant

The bathroom was coated in dust when I arrived. The vent cover for the bathroom fan was off, placed on top of the towel rack. The carpets were stained. No windows in the room. Pretty dumpy.

The staff in front, especially Patty, was extremely warm and helpful. They gave me a lot of information and really just made me and my son feel comfortable.

The room was smaller and darker than anticipated but perfect if you just need a place to sleep at night. We really appreciated the staff and the lounge.

Such a great hotel with a great location. Newly renovated and very clean. Staff was very friendly and always assisted when needed. The only criticism my sister and I really have is we wish the shower had a shelf or rack of some sort to place toiletries.
