This hotel is the best for those on a budget. It’s been remodeled within the last 5-10 years and it’s consistently a 5 for ease of parking, multiple garages around, and its front desk are the best group of San Francisco peeps you’ll encounter. Don’t the let the Ellis St flavor stop you from staying here it’s not the heart of the Loin and it’s just off Market and everything Union Sq and the Powell Trolley if you’re wanting that San Francisco treat is right around the corner. You can’t go wrong here. It’s a small hotel with a big heart. So leave yours here too and keep it company. Hats off to the Fusion crew. Many thanks for taking care of me and my crazy schedule!

The staff was amazing. They were quick to help address issues and provide useful recommendations. The bed wasn't very comfortable. This could have been a matter of personal choice. I favor softer mattresses, and this was decidedly firm. Additionally, fridge was "off" which made me believe when I arrived that it was broken. They quickly replaced the unit, but while I can appreciate being not as cold, while the room was not in use, off meant hours before it reached a safe temperature.

Tremendous location, right near the BART on Market Street, easy to get to SFO or Berkeley. Room was spacious, and had everything I needed. Property is a little bit worn, but definitely clean. It had all the things I needed, without any of the fancy flourishes that you end up paying extra for. Recommended.

Great location. Love the queen room with day bed. Worked great for a sibling visit in the city. Very quiet. Fun lobby bar.

The front desk staff were extremely nice. Answer several questions about to local area. Suggested several great places to have breakfasts. The carpet in our room was a slight trip hazard. It probably needs to be restretched.

The location and the staff were very nice. The hotel also has a small but good gym. The room smelled terrible. You get used to it after some time but it was very unpleasant to get to the room each time.
