The hotel is short distance from Union Square and Bart/Muni stops as well as restaurants and shopping stores. Pick- up and drop-off for tours are just also available nearby. The main door is always locked to prevent non-residents to come-in.

Good location and clean room. The welcome package wine and water and snacks, was a nice bonus.

The hotel waa in a great location couple blocks from union Square and around the corner from the cable car. Room was quite small for family of 4 not much space for clothes etc we had to go daily into the suitcase.

The pillows were flatter than pancakes took 3 just to get a good position for neck support and their bathroom shower towels are the size of hand towels.

This is a beautiful classic San Francisco building/ hotel. The history that it could tell.. The staff is incredible, every single one of them. From check in to check out .Room was so cozy and quite . I have already recommended it to several people. My tv wasnt working, but the front desk had some one on call to fix it immediately. I however was to exhusted to wait and put a do not disturb sign on the door and didnt think about it again.

The location was great, and all the front desk staff were gracious and friendly. I did let them know the lamp on the wall was not working. And there was no soap in the soap dish by the sink. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Overall a decent hotel for a few nights stay in SF. Room was small.

My partner and I had an extreme flooding of our apartment which required us to temporarily stay at a hotel with our pets while being fixed, so we stayed at Abri since it was close to our home. Upon checking in, the man at the front desk requested to check our pets' service animal certifications despite that not being allowed. Every subsequent conversation with this man (all the other staff were lovely and very helpful) was unpleasant as he insinuated that we wouldn't be able to stay much longer as the costs for the hotel would be going up significantly while an event took place in the city (extremely disrespectful as he completely assumed our financial status or ability to pay for the hotel), and most importantly, he told me that we could not extend our hotel room for another night because the entire hotel was booked for this event, but when I looked up hotels in the area that were available, that was not true. Apparently he wrote down in the manager notes section of their internal system to not allow us to
