About Parc 55 San Francisco - A Hilton Hotel
Parc 55 San Francisco places you steps from Union Square, with sleek, contemporary rooms and some of the best downtown views in the city. This is a hotel designed for the way you actually travel—efficient, comfortable, and unexpectedly local. Start your morning at Morning Market, our grab‑n‑go for coffee and a quick bite. Rent an e‑bike from the garage and see the waterfront, the hills, and the neighborhoods on your own terms. When hunger hits, you do not need to leave the building: Kin Khao, a Michelin‑starred Thai restaurant, serves bold, authentic flavors just upstairs. For something more relaxed, Cable 55 Restaurant & Bar offers classic American fare and craft cocktails. Need a pool or a serious workout? You have full access to the outdoor heated pool and fitness center at Hilton San Francisco Union Square, just across the street. Same ownership, same Hilton standard. Convenient location
-
The hotel is ok. The rooms are outdated and the carpeting is in need of some serious cleaning. However the lobby is very nice. The hotel is very close to Powell street and a few blocks away from major shopping retailers

Had trouble checking in and the check-in clerk was dismissive and not helpful at all. She was fully prepared to cancel my reservation, which in hindsight would have worked for me to find a nicer less expensive hotel nearby. Instead I had to talk to a manager and he accepted my ID and let me have my room. The hotel is nice enough, but kind of shabby and dated for a 4 star hotel. The carpets in the hallways are in bad shape. There's no free Wi-Fi in the guest rooms, you have to pay extra. There is no self-parking, only valet parking at $17/hr or $80 for 4+hours/overnight. The biggest concern is the amount of lint all over the top sheet of the bed. When pulling up the top sheet all of this lint and dust filled the air. I spent the night trying not to move the sheets much to prevent more junk in the air, but I set my phone on the bed and when I picked it up the tacky rubber cover was covered in lint. Wondering how much of that stuff I breathed in that night. I was going to extend my stay another night, but opted not to.

Great spot for a stay
-
Everything even thou the area at night was a little scary.

Very large hotel right on the edge of a not so great part of town. Parking was a nightmare. Took us 20 mins just to get to a spot in the street to unload our bags and then told the parking was full. They recommended another garage that took my husband 45 mins to park then told that they were full. He had to park in a not great area. There was no green space nearby for your pet to potty. Very chaotic busy area and a fair amount of homeless traffic. We requested a cot and were told it was coming, waited for 20 mins, called back to check on the status and they said they couldn’t bring us a cot because of fire code even though our room was huge. No water bottles in the room. They did grant us a slightly later checkout which was nice. I will mention this was the night before the SF Marathon so a very busy time.

Clean layout in a good location to travel on-foot to a variety of nearby areas of interest or easily board the public transit along Market Street. No issues with the room or service, would book again.

Bien situé
-
Quality room with good bedding. Clean and everything working. Great location for my purposes.
-
The only downside was there was a lot of homeless people in the area so we didn’t feel safe venturing out at night on foot.

The hotel located in downtown and close to every thing that's so nice cause it's near to every thing

The stay at this hotel was second to none in every category. The staff was very friendly and very professional and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as possible. Maria was very kind and friendly and I highly recommend that someone recognize her as the best agent on the staff. The concierge was very helpful and she was extremely nice handling all of our concerns and information about the city. The hotel restaurant was excellent and the hostess was a very kind person. I’m very grateful for their hospitality and attitude towards the guests who are staying in their hotel.

Our kids especially enjoyed the gym, and we also had a great time using the pool. The vending machines were convenient and well stocked, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Perfect place

Everything was, clean. Staff was helpful anytime we needed anything and were extremely polite
-
Room was clean. Hotel had a great location, close to Union Square and many restaurants. Hotel bar and restaurant were nice and convenient to have as an option. Food was not bad, but definitely not worth the prices they charge.

Beds are small and really hard.
